Bro, I just really wanted to say thank you so much for making this tutorial! When I was a kid, I played a ton of Dead Rising. Certain achievements like Saint and 5 Day Survivor (I didn't even try for 7 Day!) always eluded me, many, many failed attempts. I followed your advice to the letter on my new PC playthroughs and now finally have all achievements. 13 year old me would be very proud, as I finally got it done, thanks to you. Just really wanted to thank you for your countless hours spent making this video and helping countless people. I also really appreciated the humor thrown in lol. This is the most amazing game guide I've ever seen. The graphic pop-ups you did were super helpful so I didn't miss anything. When this originally came out, I remember playing it through like 8 times to get all the achievements. This tutorial is awesome and only takes 2 playthroughs + Infinite mode! Well done!

I have just played through following your original guide and completed it (since I didn't actually get credit) I've started again @ 50 and followed your other guide (part 2) so far I've had such an easier time not running back and forth minus the mega buster. Thank you for showing and everything in such a fool proof way.

Excellent job. I watched the entire thing even thought I haven't played in 10 plus years.

This is the best playthrough out there, hands down! I had to do more than 3 runs to get all of them though, but it's mostly my fault of not following the clock (which is extremely important, especially during 72-hour mode) and just having misfortunes happen. I recommend watching a bit ahead while playing (I was using Steam so 1 screen is running the game windowed and other one is RU-vid). For example, In the Colby's Movieland, Cheryl died while the other survivors got back safe. Only later I realized she is necessary for the last call of "Transmitionary"... I also accidentally gave Kent the wrong picture, not unlocking Tad who was the last character I needed for "Full Set". Another note: in order to get the Real Megabuster - you don't even need to be at the helipad by noon on the 3rd day. You just have to get ANY ending that included you being alive by that time, and the next playthrough would have the megabuster.

Possibly the best trophy guide for a game on RU-vid. Thank you for the hard work you put into this.

I followed your 7 Day Survivor guide to great success, on Xbox One no less!. My first attempt did result in a crash, but luckily that was only 4 hours in. I followed everything you did almost perfectly. I had to improvise a bit when I didn’t ration my food properly, but improvise is kind of the idea of Dead Rising. Great guide!

This video is a literal masterpiece. I followed this guide in its entirety and easily got every single achievement without trouble and had a blast. The routing for all the runs is well thought out and accounts for any mistakes you might make. My only small criticism would be as follows: I don't think fighting larry in infinity mode is worth the risk especially with all the mall food that this guide leaves available by the end of the 14 hours. While I do agree that the fight happens early on in the run it would still be frustrating to have to start it over considering you will be sitting at your computer for 14 hours. You also don't mention that if you are behind on food during inifnity mode you can always equalize that difference between the player and this guide by grabbing a couple of wines from the food court after fighting steven. Obviously these 2 small complaints are nothing compared to how useful this guide is in its entirety. I had played and liked this game a few years ago but following this guide and doing everything really made me fall in love with it. Thanks for the hard work!

Finally decided I'm gonna redo this achievements on the remaster version I'm about halfway through, nearly fucked up twice now so warning: If you enter, and subsequently leave the security room whilst Ronald is asking for food, you will fail the case even if there is time left - thus the mutany goes ahead. The other part in finding tight (had to turn it off for today) is the Satna Cabeza/Sean bit, getting those survivors back through the mall at night time is damned hard. I remember why when I did this on 360 years ago I said "never again" haha

I managed to get every achievement (trophy) on the ps4 version. The 7 day survivor definitely got tense at some points since I wasn't as efficient as you. I even live streamed infinity mode which helped some of the boredom of waiting. Currently on the ps4 version the 5 day survivor has a 1.2% rarity and 7 day is 1% and the platinum trophy is 0.7%. So higher percentages of people have done the 7 day survivor challenges but didn't bother or weren't able to get the rest of the trophies (achievements)
