and the moon then sends markers to any planet a marker mostly turns the people into necros and transforms into a moon after everyone is dead but if the marker hasnt succeded or it can act like a beacon

That goes into the question of what created the Brethren Moons and the markers? The devs, before Visceral was shut down, said that there is a reason the Brethren and their markers exist. They wouldn't elaborate, in case the story is *ever* picked up again, but merely eluded to the reality that there is something far worse than the Brethren Moons. That they are actually keeping whatever unimaginable cosmic hell that is out there in check. That returns to your question, I see the markers as conduits of their influence as well as beacons. Dead space tells us that the markers exude pure essentially *infinite* energy, the same energy that empowers Necromorphs as an outbreak progresses and allows the altering and manipulation of organics and environments. It makes sense that as the Marker is a beacon, it also serves as the heart, or battery for the Brethren Moon. If you look at some images of them it actually looks like just that. What seems like the beak of the moon is actually, what I think to be the Marker the Moon absorbs fusing with all the collected biomass and becoming the beating heart and mind of the moon. It would explain how the one at the end of DS3, had likely instantly signaled it's brothers in deep space. The moment the Marker and it's collected species converge, it becomes one hyper-sentient lifeform, likely containing the minds and knowledge of innumerable lesser lifeforms. This is nearly a decade old comment, but what the hell, people might still frequent these videos.

Complete the church. Complete the ship and lead us home. Make us whole.

@@ReplicatorFifth ishimura in the second game is held inside a hangar and isn't floating above tau volantis, so the ship is the terra nova from dead space 3. The question is: if this image is of ds3, then why is isaac wearing a suit only obtainable in the second game? The advanced suit? My guess is the image was taken during developpement, and the suit was originally supposed to be available, but for some reason got taken out afterwards.
