They say once a film franchise becomes too self-aware, it becomes a parody in itself. Just look at the Scary Movie films became a parody of the Scream franchise, thus the recent Scream movies in return became a parody themselves because of Scary Movie. I think when MCU became self-aware of its own shortcomings was due to Loki TV series using Infinity Stones as paper weights and Hela in Thor Ragarsuck saying Infinity Gauntlet was 'junk'. It's like when Luke Skywalker threw his lightsaber away in the Last Jedi, it's effectively telling the audience, "Don't take these characters seriously anymore!"

Yeah. I hate nothing can be taken seriously anymore. I miss comedy relegated to few things and parody especially relegated to once good parodies like Scary Movie and Scream being more serious but with good comedy but not parody level comedy that belongs in a Scary Movie movie.

The infinity stones being paper weight was to let you know that the tva is a powerful place, not that the stones are worthless they just don't work inside the tva like Loki's magic, Hella says that that gauntlet was fake not that the real one is, yes it would have been great if it was the real one and she would have said worthless without the stones or something like that

When will movies go back to being movies? The superhero genre has so much potential to be great, and we’ve had greatness. The Dark Knight trilogy, Logan, Superman, BvS: UE, MoS, ZSJL, and countless others. But Hollywood keeps recycling these movies like a bad series of reruns, jammed with jokes and cameos like candy for kids. The studios either restrict or alter the director’s vision, thus we get abominations like Josstice League. WB is suffering now due to bad decisions and so is Disney. Trying to please an audience that doesn’t exist, while insulting fanboys. It’s an easy fix that they have made so difficult. I don’t get it. In my job, I always wanted to succeed. These guys seem to want to fail or refuse to admit they’re wrong.

I hope that rumored Venom 3 plot leak doesn’t end up being true! It sounds horrible! Very cringe! I already wasn’t confident in Venom 3 anyway, but this is another level of stupidity that I’m not even sure Sony is being that serious in. I hope it’s just a rumor. Babysitter Venom sounds terrible! Nothing can be taken seriously anymore as both Disney and Sony are farces! If the initial plot for Madame Web doesn’t end up getting made, I hope the same happens for Venom 3 if that rumored plot leak for 10 year old Peter Parker is actually true! I hope not! Here’s my unsolicited opinion I’ve never liked the Deadpool movies or Ryan Reynolds I find him extremely fucking annoying even though he does seem like a nice guy i hated the first one and the only reason I saw the second one is because some woman I was interested in wanted to watch it which was a red flag 🚩 that I should have noticed from the jump but like Robert De Niro said in a Bronx tale sometimes you think and make decisions with the little head instead of the big head so I’m just looking forward to Joe reviewing it and most likely ripping it apart for the shit that it will most likely be

They already prior lost me with Doctor Strange “2” but I was giving Thor the benefit of the doubt because imo Ragnarok had a good balance of humor and drama.
