A creation of the celebrated duo, Fabian Nicieza and Rob Liefeld, the character was primarily depicted as a supervillain in its first appearance in the 98th issue of The New Mutants as well as in X-Force. It was later that Deadpool developed into his more identifiable antiheroic role. Going by his real name Wade Wilson, he is a disfigured trigger-happy mercenary, one who is exceedingly well versed in martial arts and swordsmanship, and at the same time also brags a phenomenal talent of accelerated healing. Because of Deadpool’s non-stop ability to talk and joke whilst also breaking the fourth wall for hilarious out-turns and running gags, his character is often labeled as ‘Merc with a Mouth’.
Played by our very favorite Ryan Reynolds, who is often seen giving credits to the second issue of the comic book series Cable & Deadpool, for having him plowed into the character and ultimately bringing it to the movies, today’s video is going to be all about the origins of the character. You better be ready for this!
