I could not stop laughing after this. It’s just so perfectly done. The setup was just too perfect. I was amazed not everyone laughed as much as I did there. (Probably because they were too young or never saw Fantastic 4 with Evans). So sad, because my goodness what a joke
I was pleasantly surprised by Channing Tatum’s Remy LeBeau. I also liked Taylor Kitsch as Gambit. However I love that Channing was a version from the original animated series. His accent was very good.
@@MisssKayyYeah, me too. Surprising, considering how good Taylor Kitsch was in X-Men Origins, as Gambit. But Channing Tatum's portrayal of Gambit, was definitely better than I was hoping for, and considering that Gambit and Wolverine are my favorite members of the X-Men, he gave me more than I was expecting, and I already enjoyed Channing Tatum in the 21/22 Jump Street movies with Jonah Hill and Ice Cube. But wow, I really wish he'd gotten his own separate movie now...but as usual, Blade was pure awesomeness incarnate, without stealing the spotlight from Wade or Logan, and I'm glad they gave Electra another chance, because I thought Jennifer Garner being cast as Electra was a great idea, even if her movie was just her pretending to be Black Widow, and I'm glad Johnny Storm got to come back, but honestly, I thought it was either Cap or Ghost Rider at first. But I'm also glad that Magneto's Brotherhood makes a return, Mephisto, Toad, Sabertooth (the annoying long haired one, from the original X-Men movies, not the one from the Origins movie, which also had a crappy Gambit), who gets punched out by Logan. And I actually enjoyed Chris Evans' version of Johnny Storm back in the other 2 Fantastic Four movies, especially the Silver Surfer movie. Even if they screwed up Galactus, they at least TRIED to have Galactus in the second Fantastic Four movie. But too bad we never got that Gambit standalone movie. Gambit's such an iconic character; like Wolverine, that I'm surprised he never got his own movie. But then again, they tried to give Logan his own movies, and only Origins was really THAT bad. Until Deadpool 2. But still, tell me you wouldn't want to see Remy have had his own movie spinoff, at least, in some other universe, where he's taken somewhat seriously, but still has his sense of humor, even if he sounded like he was gargling marbles mostly. But to be fair, Gambit's s ALWAYS sounded like that, whether it was the movies/games/cartoons, he's ALWAYS had that accent. Even though I still think highly of Remy, It's been one of the things people like to make fun of poor Remy for. But, Channing Tatum's portrayal was a lot better than I would've expected. Especially for a character who SHOULD'VE had that movie, but didn't. He had some ridiculous moves, and he wasn't always unintelligible. But I do appreciate their sense of humor though. And the fact that he has the comic and cartoon accurate costume, was fan service, sure, but it's fan service that works well. Even if they're nobly sacrificing themselves. They definitely proved that they deserved better. A shame Punisher and Daredevil didn't get that, but eh, whatever, it's fine. I'm not complaining, it was the best time I had seeing a Marvel movie since No Way Home. Also, sorry if I went on TOO long.
The cameos with the mid credits BTS footage was so very touching. Tatum and Evans have both expressed their gratitude to Reynolds for including them. And my god, did Jackman act his face off. It’s wonderful to see actors enjoy their craft and get to fulfill their own dreams.
Tatum's Gambit, "I don't think I have a Father and was born here (in the void because his movie never got made...lol)." So many references, it was difficult to keep up with them...lol.
I don't get it, a lot of people are saying Hugh phoned it in, I couldn't disagree more, he needed this in his soul and did an amazing job. I'm sure it was as cathartic for Hugh as Logan was.
The amount of people that are like “another pointless cameo with a random actor” is frustrating to see, but also- I get it. It’s a fairly inside joke. Not everyone drowns themselves in movie news every day.
The brilliance of that “one Blade” joke is that it works in two interpretations. It could mean Deadpool pitying Snipes because he doesn’t know about Marvel doing another Blade, or it could mean Deadpool agreeing that there will just be one Blade at this rate since Marvel keep delaying their own plans.
That jokes works from two angles. It could mean Deadpool pitying Snipes because he doesn’t know about Marvel doing another Blade, or it could mean Deadpool agreeing that there will just be one Blade at this rate since Marvel keep delaying their own plans.
@@RaskylC Yes, same here. He sounded EXACTLY like Gambit from the X-Men cartoons! EXACTLY like how Gambit is SUPPOSED to sound, and FINALLY, somebody FINALLY gets Ol' Pool Boy right, (besides the comics and cartoons, the original X-Men cartoon, the sequel, X-Men: Evolution, and of course, the recent one, that's ASTOUNDINGLY perfect, "X-Men '97"... which I haven't seen yet), and as an X-Men fan, who's favorite members of the X-Men are Gambit and Wolverine, I'm sorry, and I apologize for this. I never thought Channing Tatum would be the one who'd give us the BEST live action Gambit, but seriously, he NAILED it perfectly. Yes; someone out there, give this guy his OWN standalone film ALREADY! We've been waiting for YEARS and YEARS for Gambit to get his own leading role! He's so COOL, and AWESOME, and one of the only other X-Men who can actually try to stand on their own, or even against Logan, even if it's a Logan or a Gambit from another multiverse, dimension, etc., whatever. As long as it doesn't end up being the Gambit equivalent to X-Men Origins: Wolverine, I don't think there's any way they could mess that up. But then again, maybe they could... but if you don't try, how can you know? The world NEEDS more live action standalone Gambit movies...sure, we ALL love Wolverine, but where's the love for Pool Boy? I mean, I didn't even KNOW most of the other mutants from X-Men Origins (Agent Xero, whoever the hell Will. I. Am's character even was, Logan's girlfriend, I barely even recognized both The Blob and even Gambit in the movie. Sabertooth was ok, and Wolverine was obviously the best and only performance in Origins that didn't make me want to bash my head against a wall. And maybe Ryan Reynolds', but BEFORE he gets turned into Cypool. And only because of what happened in Deadpool 2, with him and Cable...which was hilarious and actually made Origins have SOME worth, instead of being the Devil May Cry 2 of the X-Men movies. Because we all know Wolverine deserved better. And also, it wasn't just Tatum's accent that was comic accurate, but the outfit, and his weapon too. Also, sorry if I took forever here. But yeah, dude, I definitely agree, we need more Channing Tatum Gambit, with the comic book accurate accent, outfit, and weapons, both his staff and the cards? Definitely need them. That's a HUGE part of WHY and one of the reasons HOW Gambit's able to be so cool in the first place! The way he handles his staff, and the playing cards, and his personality, the quips he's usually making, how cool he he ALWAYS is, there's just no way to make a lame Gambit, no way at all. But they were close to ruining Iceman and Havoc in live action, but didn't. Believe me, we ALL need more of Channing Tatum's amazing job of portraying Gambit. They gave Ryan Reynolds another chance, and look how far we've come since then. We're seeing other characters getting another shot, and redeeming themselves. So let's let the others do the same.
As a Welsh person, I'm always happy to see the flag in blockbuster films, but to see a Deadpool variant I.E. Welshpool was frigging awesome, and he was played by one of the Wrexam FC members too.
I could be wrong, but everyone alive in the Void is from Fox days? Sure, there are artifacts from the MCU but Fox characters live on in the Void. Also, I'm sure it's obvious but Deadpool was rejected by The Avengers because he's not MCU and the told by Happy to be okay with being less than....wow. So many jabs all around, but the movie was mainly a big middle finger to Disney...and I loved it.
One of the best touches I don't think anyone caught with X-23 she still has the pink sun glasses from Logan as an adult I actually jumped with joy in my seat seeing that. The little things they got in this movie was amazing.
@@zeroth88 Ah, so THAT'S where X-23's sunglasses came from? Sorry...as much as I loved seeing the movie "Logan", it felt like a bittersweet goodbye to Wolverine, and to the last gen of the X-Men...then you see that Logan's still alive, albeit across different dimensions and multiple universe's, but it's great either way, and I'm not complaining at all. Since Wolverine's ALWAYS been my favorite member of the X-Men, ever since the original X-Men cartoon, because of how awesome he's always been. Same with Gambit. But it's nice to know that Laura still kept her gift from Wolverine from the movie Logan. Always a nice touch and a nice way to remember that THIS universe's Logan died fighting for what he believed in, and died as not just a hero, but what felt like a real superhero. And I'm glad Deadpool didn't decide to desecrate Logan's grave from that movie either, and just decides to travel to different multiverses instead. A much better idea, and definitely what Deadpool would've thought of doing. And him killing people to one of my favorite songs "Bye, Bye, Bye", was hilarious. Everything about this movie worked out as well as I was hoping, and also, even better than I was expecting, in some cases.
Wesley Snipes as blade is the biggest surprise for me. we all know the story/drama they had when filming Blade 3 so he would be the last person we would guess to make the cameo. im happy they are actually okay together and damn Wesley Snipes still have his swag like he didnt age at all
My Mom thought Chris Evans was back as Captain America and I told her to just wait. I knew he was playing Johnny Storm immediately. That was a well done reveal.
I had no idea lol caught me completely off guard. I even yelled ‘Cap?!’ in the theater right before the reveal. It was an even better surprise, actually.
The movie got me, but I did think in the past how funny it would be to have the new actor, Chris Evans, Michael B Jordan and John Krasinski all play him I one scene. Chaos!
Wolverine using his mask was my favorite scene. And love how that moment has a true meaning for his character arc and for his cinematic history. It wasn't just "let's put his mask in there", I really felt the weight of that moment.
My favorite moments - "Suck It Fox, I'm going to Disneyland!" - The Honda Odyssey getting damaged while Grease's "We Go Together" plays - The esemble of Blade, Elektra, and Gambit fighting together in Giant Man's remains - Kid Pool and Baby Pool with Blake Lively as Lady Pool
Chris Evans back as Johnny Storm was a total surprise to me. That might've been my favorite moment of the whole movie. I also got misty eyed during the credits and reflecting back on those days, crazy how green day will do that to you
Thanks Chris, you're the only reviewer I've seen so far mention how much love and respect this movie showed to the 2000s era of X-Men movies at the end credits and overall. It was a touching tribute and the movie and makers behind it deserve that recognition!
funny thing in the german version of the movie, when chris evans reveals that hes johnny storm, deadpool says something like "should have recognized the voice", because back when fantastic 4 came out, chris evans had a different german voice actor, and i think they used that one in this movie. i would need to double check but that was a really neat way of making an additional joke for the german version.
It make sense. Since Johnny Storm has that bad boy youthful vibe. His voice wouldn't be the same as Capt America being a leader and seasoned vet. If you notice, Chris Evans also did change his intonation, entirely different vibe between his slightly higher pitch fast talk Johnny Storm, to a more lower, slower assured tone of Capt America.
In Spanish both Chris Evans and Ryan Reynolds have the same voice actor, so they kept it that way in the movie and when Cassandra kills Johnny, Deadpool says something like “Besides, he was confusing us with that voice”
I didn't know what/which character Chris Evans was playing either, but I gasped and squealed after he shouted "Flame On!" and broke out with a giant smile on my face. I'm so happy that cameo wasn't spoiled, surprises are always better when you don't see it coming.
1:47 To be fair, Deadpool also thought it was Captain America because he wanted him to say "Avengers assembled" so he does acknowledge they look exactly the same.
@@Sp1n1985 this is where it stops Making sense to me tbh. If deadpool knows he isn't real, and that an actor is playing him, then why does his world matter? If it's all just being shot for a movie and it's all fiction. There is some ambiguity there
I just want to say, it's refreshing to have a reviewer on RU-vid who leans more towards positivity than negativity. I know people give you a lot of flak for it, but know that you have a fan of this new approach in me.
I thought more of it as Deadpool going ""yeah studios, why is Blade, the one that technically kicked off Marvel superhero movies in the 90's and was very succesful with 3 movies, not having a reboot yet?". Anyway, it works in a lot of ways.
The end credits really was heartfelt, it was like finding a time capsule of bts videos from that era lol as a kid brought a lil tear to my eye I can only imagine being a adult at that type I would of been sobbing in the theater
X-men 2 intro scene with the Nightcrawler in the White House was stuck in my mind for years and years as the coolest scene I've ever seen. It still holds up amazingly. It really is an end of an era
Nightcrawler was done justice with that one. Fluid scene with the right amount of slowmo. Also Jean holding back a fucking dam while sending the Blackbird away.
When I watched that movie with my dad (midnight showing of course) I turned to him after that scene and said, "I think we found the most powerful mutant!" And he winked. Memory.
Tbh, my favorite joke of the movie was immediately right at the beginning when Deadpool was talking about how we the audience didn’t think that Deadpool 3 would be done properly, due to Fox being bought by Disney. It was definitely a concern that I had with the film going into it. This movie really rocked. So many great verbal and visual jokes in there and I had such a great time with it!
Going in this movie completely blind was an absolute treat. I knew about Deadpool and Wolverine and voided social media the entire time. I was thrilled
I was really happy to see Gambit. Hes always been my favorite xmen, so seeing him finally represented properly just made me happy. Since the 2000s, hes either been a bad guy or just written poorly, so between this movie and xmen 97 Im really happy gambit is finally getting the recognition he deserves
For the last 2 years, i've been avoiding everything after the 1st trailer. The final trailer has ALWAYS had spoilers in them for almost every movie. I knew Deadpool and Wolverine were in this and the TVA. that's it and was plesantly surprised by every cameo! Wolverine pulling the mask on was such a moment for me!
I UNFORTUNATELY trusted the word on the streets that the first 37 minutes was what all the trailers and marketing was made from... yeah that wasn't true.
@@tyleradams3490 yeah that first teaser fit into that description. I went back and looked at all the trailers and the first official trailer had the slow walkout for them about to go up against the deadpool core. And the final trailer was just crazy spoilers.
the way everyone lost their minds when wesley snipes showed up as blade again in the movie was gold. My favorite scene in the movie was the car scene where they went "all night long" was awesome.
Deadpool looked at the camera right after Wesley Snipes said he was always going to be the only blade. The joke being that the audience knows for a fact he will not always be the only Blade.
The joke being that not only is the current Blade project in development hell, the Blade tv show is pretty much ignored by the fandom and the movie itself as a whole
Chris realizes that. He’s surprised they made that joke because the Blade movie that’s in the works is having a lot of trouble so there’s no guarantee it will come out.
The way things have been going with that production, I'm not even sure Ali is still going to be the new day walker. Seeing Wesley gave me hope that maybe he'll be returning from the void for one more run.
I think Deadpool looking at the camera like that is more a fourth wall break for Ryan Reynolds, who’s saying this actually refers to the fact that there won’t be a recast of Deadpool after him.
I will be honest, I was never a fan of the first two movies, specially the second one which I disliked, but I like Deadpool and I love Wolverine and Hugh Jackman returning to the role made me give it a chance. I didn't see or hear any spoilers and I watched it on opening night... Every single cameo gave me goose bumps, the film was beautifully directed, I enjoyed every bit of it (maybe not so much the Wade with a wig part, I think it dragged on a bit). The choice in music was also fantastic and to my surprise Wolverine just happens to wear his mask at the end like, WHAT??? FINALLY!!! And we FINALLY get a good Gambit! I love that character and I hope we get to see more of him. Loved it so much I had to go watch it again and I'm sure I won't be able to hold the urge of watching it a third time.
100% agree about trailers giving WAY TOO MUCH that X23 reveal on the final trailer was me throwing up my hands like... whyyyy? And then in the scene where she showed up she didnt get as big of a day one reaction as the other 3 because us Marvel fans who consume every ounce of product already knew she was in it
To be fair, of the four of them, she was almost a given. She was a big part of the Logan movie, and we have to assume that Deadpool would acknowledge the Logan continuity(I mean, he already did in Deadpool 2). So if we are bringing Wolverine back, somehow, we will probably also see X23. How big of a role(small cameo or actual role) would be another matter. I think they worked it in nicely.
I've not watched a trailer in about 7 years and it's hugely improved my experience. I don't need to be sold on this stuff, I'm already all in so why spoil things for myself?
they did make a joke about how he looked liked Captain America Chris, that was the whole set-up of their discussion leading up to Johnny flaming up, it was pretty straight forward and i think further dialogue on the subject woulda been overkill, but great review, as always! 🙏🏻
As someone that was a massive fan of Pyro as a kid cuz of the big action sequence in “X2” it was so cool to see Aaron Stanford come back. And during his marvel interview at the premiere everyone in the background was just goin “PYRO PYRO PYRO PYRO PYRO” and I was like “YEEEEEEEEEEAHHHHHHH”
I’m sorry but I never expected Gambit and Deadpool to have the funniest exchange in the film. I’m a hard laugh but I was on the floor after the dialect coach line.
It was my favorite joke too. In my audience, you could still hear me laughing seconds later as they kept talking and the rest of the theatre had stopped by then😅
Is it weird that Channing Tatum's Gambit costume looks absolutely ridiculous but looks good also? Like it's like they made it intentionally look bad but also intentionally good.
@@rogueguardian Nope, not at all. Sure, he kinda looks like he's auditioning to play some kind of 80's fitness instructor Gambit, rather than the 90's comic accurate/90's cartoon accurate Gambit, and when I showed my Mom how Gambit looked, she laughed hysterically, and thought Gambit was someone in a bad Halloween costume. Mainly because she doesn't even know who Gambit is...but as someone who's a MASSIVE fan of Gambit, and who's favorite members of the X-Men are Gambit and Wolverine, this film did BOTH characters so well, it's astounding how insanely well Channing Tatum did as Gambit, because it's almost like he studied the 90's X-Men cartoon, and 90's comics, before playing Gambit. Because he got everything about Remy right. And when I saw everything, I mean it. The staff, the insanely ridiculous outfit, that you wouldn't think would actually look sort of cool in live action, but somehow, they managed to get it right, and I also mean his card abilities too, because just like the cartoons, his card abilities in this film are almost, lifted EXACTLY from the comics and cartoons. Like his every move in the film is a reference to a specific comic panel, or an episode of the X-Men cartoons, the original one, or Evolution, or the newer one, '97. So no, honestly, I don't think its really weird that Channing Tatum's Gambit costume looks as ridiculous as it does. Deadpool's and Wolverine's costumes get ridiculous, but they definitely worked. Especially Wolverine's full costume, from the cartoon, with the cowl and all. That was the BEST Wolverine costume I've ever SEEN, and Deadpool's costume has always looked amazing, so no real problems on that front. But I was NOT expecting neither Gambit nor Wolverine to look even COOLER than they ALREADY did, previously. Seriously, I didn't think it was even possible to take the 2 coolest X-Men (Gambit and Wolverine), and somehow, make them EVEN COOLER than ever. But they did it. They gave Logan his animated series costume, with the cowl, and it looked like most awesome costume ever made. And Gambit? Maybe it was meant to be both somehow intentionally bad and good, at the same time, but it still looked cool, and is accurate to Gambit's costume from the comics and animated series. He's always had the awesome trenchcoat, with the staff and playing cards, and Cajun accent. But Tatum managed to pull it off so well, it's like he jumped DIRECTLY out of the X-Men animated series, and onto the film that Gambit fans( like me), had always wanted to see him in.
I’d never literally clapped my hands at something in a movie before… until Wesley Snipes walked onto the screen in this movie. I was so over come with “wtf am I witnessing here” that I couldn’t help myself 😆
I had such an amazing time watching this. Loved every second of it. Even watching all the trailers, I still had no idea of what the storyline was. Best time I have had in a theatre in a looooong time! Thankyou Dog-Pool!
Prof. X sister, Cassady is super over powered. In the comics she was dispelled on the street but subconsciously used her powers to start building her body. Another comic had prof x either purposefully or accidentally tie his embilical cord around her neck amd almost killed her but she saved herself. She is suppose to be equally as strong as Prof. X but doesnt have the restraint to not abuse her power. She also doesnt have control of peoples minds from afar, hence why her hand was in there head. It was suppose to show how it qould actually feel to get read by a telepath. So charles is stronger, but she is almost as powerful as him, just careless.
Bruh when blade came on screen i lost my mind. So good and drop me back to the 1st blade. Coolest thing was i got to work with Stephen dorff this year and remember him as Deacon Frost, so seeing blade in Deadpool Wolverine was epic for me, personally.
I loved the short Wolverine. It proved that short Wolverine would never have really worked on the big screen. Also Cavill Logan was a great little pat on the back..
I've stopped watching trailers on movies that I know I will 100% watch. I went in blind into the movie theater and I was so happy I did. I hope Disney does make Hugh portray the Wolverine until he is 90. Ryan Reynolds knows that the fans would love this movie.
I enjoyed Casandra Nova as an antagonist She was menacing, scary and great at manipulating, all things that make a great villain My biggest problem was that she kinda pulled a 180 with her whole helping Wolverine and Deapool get home but then deciding “you know what? I wanna destroy the multiverse!!” thing.
It’s called fan service done right, paying tribute to past failures receiving the lime light once again, also it’s a Deadpool movie It’s chaotic on its own unserious way.
Totally agree about the trailers. I have more or less been avoiding trailers for the best part of the last 10 years. And I must say it REALLY pays off. You get to enjoy the movie more wholeheartedly, without any “spoilers” or expectations set by the trailers.
I didn’t watch a single trailer or clip from this movie so I cheered in surprise for every cameo, especially blade. He got the biggest reaction in my theater by far. These movies are way more fun when you don’t watch trailers.
I admit when Hugh Jackman started his role, I was upset he wasn't comic book accurate, but he created his version and made it his own and I am glad every time he returns.
The announcement of Robert Downey Jr. and the release of Deadpool & Wolverine was no coincidence. Kevin Feige clearly understood MCU was going inexorably to an ICU if he didn’t do something, specially after James Gunn’s new DCU announcement. I hope this is for good.
Fox gave us X2, DOFP and Logan. No MCU movie has ever topped the quality of those 3 movies. I'm gonna miss Fox x-men but this was indeed a very good movie and seeing hugh in the full comic accurate suit was very satisfying.
I loved when Blade said "I don't like you" and Deadpool responded "Ya you never did" because Ryan Reynolds was in Blade 3 and his character didn't get along with Blade.
@@zom8680 Yeah, BECAUSE of when they were on set of "Blade: Trinity", from 2004, Ryan Reynolds and Wesley Snipes didn't get along, at ALL. They absolutely LOATHED each other, and I think Snipes wanted Ryan Reynolds actually dead, or at least wanted him fired from Blade Trinity. Which wasn't a great movie and was easily a lazily made Blade movie. Which was a shame, it was a disaster, and felt more like a bad parody of Blade, instead of the Blade 3 we should've had. Plus, Ryan Reynolds vs. Triple H, wasn't a completely terrible idea, just an awful execution at the time. But I wouldn't want to see Ryan Reynolds reprise his role as Hannibal King or anything like that...because I don't even know if he's an actual Blade character, from the comics, or just an original character made up for the movie. I mean, Blade Trinity was easily the worst of the Blade movies, but it still does some things right, and still had some pretty cool fights. Also, sorry, I rambled on too long.
The fight scene in the mini van had me rolling, so hard I was crying. I also enjoyed the goodbye and dedication to the past X-men from fox. It’s a sign they are probably gone forever. X-men was a start up for the hero universe, great move marvel.
I just saw this yesterday. There was so much wonderfulness I think I'll have to watch the film again to catch it all. I stayed away from reviews as much as possible & I'm glad I did. Ryan & the cast really delivered & I hope it's not the last time we get Deadpool. I want a Spiderman team up next.
I felt exactly the same seeing all the behind the scenes footage during the end credits. It really was an amazing time to be a comics fan and see all these characters brought to life in such a great way back then.
Chris, when Blade says "there's only ever gonna be ONE Blade!", the next shot is of Deadpool looking at the camera and looking down awkwardly. It might have been hard to tell because he has a mask on, but its supposed to be a "wink wink" moment that there's another Blade coming
Only 1 out of 5 stars. The good: 1. Showcasing Cassandra Nova's omega level powers. 2. Deadpool looking for all the Wolverine variants. The BAD: 1. This Wolverine variant was terrible, complained the whole time, did not care, did not fight well, did not even mention what happened in his universe, absolutely did not want to be in this movie, and looked RIDICULOUS with the mask ON. 2. Deadpool and Wolverine had no buddy chemistry. They just berated each other through the whole movie that got annoying fast. 3. Deadpool vs. Wolverine fight scenes were nothing great. 4. Blade, Gambit, Elecktra, X-23 team-up had no real purpose. Channing Tatum acted and looked like a cos-player. He does not really fit the character. He is past his prime when he was in 21 Jump St and Magic Mike, no wonder solo Gambit never got developed, too late already for a solo Gambit movie, X-23 wasted, no backstory, no real purpose in movie. 5. Deadpool Corps turned into a joke just like the X-Force. 6. Wasted Wade and Vanessa's relationship since DP 1. 7. Too many plot holes between the TVA, Pyro, and Cassandra Nova. 8. Too many stage props for fan service and nostalgia that did nothing for the narrative. 9. I know the teenagers and 20+ somethings enjoyed the movie as they are easily entertained by laced profanity, crass jokes, senseless killings, and mindless explosions. 10. The 30+ somethings still enjoying stuff like this have no adult responsibilities, still go to comic cons, need to really get a life. Not worth the theatre experience, just waiting for streaming.
Agree with most of what you said, but #1 The movie needed a variant like him so he could have a satisfying arc, and he explained that he let down his team by abandoning them..
I’d totally forgotten that him putting on the cowl is a thing that could happen, was so shocked to see it happen when even just having him in the costume was such a big deal, was awesome
Chris, I felt the same. A great homage to Wolverine and his fans from x men cartoons. I agree about Spiderman and x2 what a beautiful time to be young and watch those movies.
Wesley Snipes Blade moment was the equivalent of Luke in The Mandalorian for me. I’m not especially susceptible to “member berries” but this one hit me. So well done. Anyone else think Ryan Reynolds could be the Feige we need moving forward?
