The attention to detail here is mind blowing! Easily industry standard if not better. Even the gentlemen at ILM would be impressed. Thank you for sharing, it's a genuine privilege to see a true artist working on such a masterpiece.

This is an astronomical, the talent, the patience, George Lucas himself should ask you to do his model sets, I’d be surprised if he already hasn’t, I just can’t get over the detail that you have put into these models, fantastic work. Thank you for sharing your talents.

You know how you go to the comments section on every single YT video, and you'll see idiots with negative comments? I seriously doubt you'd ever find anyone that has something negative to say about the quality and attention to detail in your work! This is a masterpiece. I've watched all your videos before - but I'm watching them from the start all over again. Mesmerizing.

Do you have a tutorial on lighting up a model, I'm looking to add lighting effects for the Bandai version of the Millennium Falcon, but I have no clue where to start beyond LED strips for the engine, and maybe some fiber optic for the cockpit area? Amazing detail by the way, more daring than I could hope to be with a model kit at the moment.

Sorry for the late question, I'm just getting back into this build after taking a year off. I got a lot of ideas from your build, thank you. @modelsbychris
@modelsbychris 8 лет назад
+Wakeman Edwards That's a good question. I don't have enough of the top yet to tell. But I'm planning on building a table with a glass case for the Falcon, so opening it up to view inside may prove difficult. I may end up displaying the interior hold separately. Haven't decided yet, though I still have almost a year to go.
@wakemanedwards3450
@wakemanedwards3450 8 лет назад
You know, thats a good idea. Perhaps you could display it as a movie set with scratch built camera's props etc. I was planning on the table route or something like it myself which is what many of the Master Replica purchasers did. Tell you what, lets stay in touch, and share idea's. It would be good to have an online friend who is also building this project. You up for that? If so let me know. Everything in the hold was fiber optics. Originally in the hallways I was using 3mm LEDs for lighting, but you can't put the top on because they're too big, so I ended up using SDM LEDs in the hallway sconces. But the nav computer was fiber optic.
