Someone explain me why this girls do lonely one person breakaways in flat long race and so damn early? Are they plain dumb or so much better than others (peleton is very weak) they think It`s doable? OR maybe they want get popular? If they want drop sprinters should attack 10-20km before finish.

I'd like to see anyone, who commented that this was slow and boring, try to keep up with the slowest lady on this ride. I will even give him/her a 5km headstart and see if s/he can get to the finish line first. Tough talk couch potatoes!

Lol, giving someone a headstart is a detriment in a cycling event. You save up to 40% riding in the peloton.

As an American, I have a special place in my heart for Australia. It is a fellow frontier nation relatively young and large like Canada. Australia had better watch out though. Russia and China have designs on it for sure.

ComeOnSBS Whyi is this a cheeky go at SBS for not ballsing up & backing cycling here lately. I Was so frigging agro when 7, 9 & 10 started covering nationals & other events. Imagine... a league commentator managing a pro road presentation - it is BS. also, furtherer aggravation - fewer WRC 1-day races being shown each year, thank god for young Dutch & Russian linkers & cycling fans

This burner account was set up because SBS geoblocked the road national championships, and Cycling Australia or SBS not having overseas broadcast partners so the race footage was marooned in Australia. Another internet Robin Hood helped streamed the women's road race to an international audience but he was transiting on the road and couldn't bring the world the men's RR. So I stepped in for the men's RR. Internet Robin Hoods wouldn't have to do this crap if media owners weren't so stingy with their coverage. Cycling New Zealand isn't, and the world gets to see their race and participants' sponsors.

here in the US we dont get any races on TV unless it Nascar and dont try to watch sports on tv unless its Baskitball, football US, or baseball unless its something like the xgames or Olympics.

God awful racing, the road bike equivalent of WAFL, quite possibly the two worst women's sports in the Universe. Women's Rugby head and shoulders above this dross
