Dealing with a spooky Tombstone Myers | Dead by Daylight 

I love when they jump in the locker, because it is a win/win situation....you either kill them, or hook them, both helps to win a match, if lucky at least. With the survivors nowadays things are never fun, turning crossplay off was amazing last night!

@@AmanSingh-bt1rx the tombstone add on for Myers allows you to outright kill a survivor while he is in tier 3. he can't do that if you are dying, and he can only grab you out of a locker. if he drops you, you go into the dying state meaning he can't kill you with it

Then realize the killer is afk after doing one gen with no encounters with any of the other survivors

@@AmanSingh-bt1rx In dead by daylight there are 3/4 health states. One is normal, another is injured which happens when you get hit, or unhooked or healed from the fourth state(dying) the third is deep wound where you are essentially the same as injured but you have to do a separate healing action before actually healed called mending, only certain killers or perks apply this, and lastly dying which is where you are on the ground crawling and you have a timer before you bleed out. This myers had an add on that makes it so that instead of hitting survivors you can press a button while touching them which instantly starts the mori animation (mori meaning outright murdering them on the spot unlike hooking people but it can only be done if met with certain things like add-ons offerings or some killer powers or perks) but you can only do this on people who are not in the dying state. In other words the only way to not instantly get murdered if he gets near you is to enter the dying state. When a killer grabs or picks up a survivor they enter the dying state so instead of instantly being murdered they allow themselves to be "found" in a locker (they are meant to be hiding spaces but they aren't using them as such) so they are grabbed and hooked, which is essentially building towards dying instead of instantly dying to delay their deaths allowing them the chance to escape before they all die.

I'm assuming you meant Kate, and Kate was a viewer he was playing with, so the viewer definitely had incentive to go out of their way to help and attempt to make plays. Not saying their coordination wasn't pretty damn on point, just that it wasn't a typical 'random person'.

Yeah i have never thought of that either! Now i just need to learn how to read the situation and know when myers has Tombstone so i can do this without just giving free grabs

@@dandantsm6560 If Myers is taking a very long time to stalk he's either not good or it's a tombstone. The other indication is his left hand is open. Also if your going to be caught a locker works but also if you're in an animation like vaulting all he can do is down you. The timing to mori is really precise

@@lazarusbooth8898 Also remember that some Myers can have tombstone and have their hand closed, so the most reliable method to know if they have it is judging by their play style and how long they take to stalk

I guess so that he doesn't leave blood everywhere and isn't moaning around, maybe also because dead hard isn't as strong against tombstone Myers

Healing is not really optimal against a potentially perma T3 Myers but if you can do it in 8s... then yeah it can be worth it. You're right thought, with DH it might have been better to be injured for the rest of the match.

Tombstone grab is frame 1 so you can’t react with dead hard. You basically have to blind guess when he’s gonna swing. Stealth is better

Yeah I agree a little more decision making could be used here. Healing against that kind of myers is the wrong move.

You can carry them into a corner and when you release them just grab before they get to a locker

@@ricksanchez1732 I once did that as the Myers and the survivor DC'd. She was the last needed for Evil Incarnate, too. that was a sad day. Obviously, that's the best strategy assuming survivors don't do something scummy, but I'm still bitter about it.

I'm still confused why Luckey didn't crawl all the way to the person opening the Gate. So what if Michael separates and goes to pick them up? Then Otz can be freed by the person behind him and they can plan what to do to get Luckey off a hook or just leave. By sitting there, too close to even get healed, you give Michael a 2K.

Maybe because when YOU use kindrd while NOT hooked, only you can see everyone's aura, but when YOU are the hooked one, the auras of everyone will appear

Scratched Mirror on in door maps ftw, I play Myers more than any other killer and it's stressful to play any other add on that's not scratched mirror or tombstone oriented

@@konekogremory8957 Vanity is definitely quite cool. It used to be the inferior out of the 2 but now it's superior to scratched mirror. Played with it yesterday and people never adapted to it that I can literally see them trough walls at loops. Since he now moves at 4.6 m/s while having it, it has become a quite useful Add-on.

Try some different playstyles with him maybe. Dead Rabbit + Monitor & Abuse for a pretty disgusting tiny terror radius in T2, something like 6m long and you can get close af jumpscare someone and use your T3 Bamboozle, Enduring, Spirit Fury, Brutal Strength, basically brute force any loop and make survivors shit themselves when they get hit with Spirit Fury in T3 or unexpectedly the fastest window vault mindgame at killer shack Scratched Mirror + the addon that lets you move faster while stalking (you basically have permanent wallhacks at any loop, and don't get slowed for it) Also Scratched mirror with Hex Perks in general is generally a good combo. Specifically haunted grounds/devour

Ikr. And sometimes survivors can get off of ur back after u pick them up. So many people do this cuz they’re just so shit that they can’t deal with my tunneling. Garbage. This hacker problem needs to be addressed

Myers is infinite expose ghostface with a 1-tap addon but you lose the crouch and personality

@@lukebell4738 yeah the missing of crouch and personality is the key. myers is also not really stealthy to begin with. he's just stalking whereas ghostface sneaks up on survivors stalking them giving them his derp face

He needs to grab you when you're on your feet in the open, so being downed (or in this case grabbed out of a locker) means you can counter the tombstone.

As a main myers , if have purple tomatoes with play with your food michael walk in T3 you will see his hand is closed I don't know why but he will Deceive you
