Bags of ice suck! There is a much better/faster/easier method. The Farmwrestler will take you through his methods for dealing with minor aches and pains all arm wrestlers deal with. You will be able to train harder, longer and more often to help you level up in the arm wrestling world. This method also works on on other areas like knees, ankles and shins!

Ice and healing in the same sentence just sounds wrong. Ice reduces inflammation in that area, but the thing is that inflammation is the main driver of healing and proper recovery.

Nice one! Do you suggest to start this "treatment" at the first signs of pain (it could be passenger) or when the pain is steady?
@thefarmwrestler
@thefarmwrestler 5 месяцев назад
For me it's for mote chronic things that don't seem to clear up on their own. Would probably be better to attack pain earlier but I don't typically have time for that

I fill my bathtub with ice cold water and put some ice in it and soak my whole arm for 15 minutes works great

I’ve had this burning / pinching kind of pain in the tendon area yiu talked about. Had my first arm wrestling match since I started training a few weeks ago. This pain has been going for about 5 weeks now just won’t go away. Next time I will not go as hard or for as long. Anyone have this similar setup and how long did it take roughly

@erikkkkkkkkk1 Great job jumping right into competition! I didn't compete for a few months when I started. That being said you will probably have new and more pain in different places for a while. It just takes time to get things conditioned for the pressures you are putting there. They will keep getting stronger and hopefully improve over time. Make sure you do some easy work in too as that helps slot. Good luck!

I’ve been armwrestling consistently now for over a year now and only feel pressure in my elbows,not much pain anywhere. do you think the longer someone armwreslte’s the worse the pain gets? Was there a point in your armwrestling journey where the pain got worse? Just curious, thanks!
@thefarmwrestler

@pogman3348 it comes and goes now. If I take a week off I have almost now pain. You can also avoid positions that put pressure on tender areas.

@thefarmwrestler, that's massive! I've managed to thicken mine up from a sliver shy of 7 inches to about 7.25 inches. Mostly by gaining weight and doing hyper focused hand/wrist/forearm training. I thought that was a win, haha. But, you can't beat your own genetics. Just have to make due with what you have.

Do not recomend icing for armwrestling. Cool your muscles not your tendonts
@thefarmwrestler
@thefarmwrestler 5 месяцев назад
I don't believe in icing while training, but for recovery and pain management, it is a valuable tool imo

@@thefarmwrestlerI somewhat agree, for pain in your first year of armwrestling it can be a life saver. But for recovery? most studies would disagree. Especialy when you have a limited window till your next session.
@thefarmwrestler

@@Tom-gt8yy I would say recovery from smaller injuries.

@@thefarmwrestlerThen i would agree, just think its important that people new to the sport dont ice their elbows everytime it hurts.
