Dealing with Armoured Suspects in Ready or Not 

I hope you get more subs. Your videos are amazing. Also ngl, devs made a great choice by implementing body armor like this. Finally the SA-58 will get the love it deserves. Can't wait for them to add something like a G3 or a more modern BR like an HK417.

I'm surprised you didn't mention the FN P90 and its counterpart sidearm the FN Five-seveN, or the H&K MP7. They were designed to defeat "soft" body armour with their 5.7mm (FNs) and 4.6mm (H&K) ammunition. Whilst they don't fare well against thick ceramics used in plate carriers, they will absolutely blow through lighter kevlar and aramid vests. They are capable of penetrating thinner plates at short range also.

I simply ADORE the SA58. Even its starting animation is like "Let's get some", and how hard the gun jump, how hard the round impacts, and that glorious sound. This is one gun I would NEVER use a suppressor on and I often turn the volume to almost max to just enjoy that glorious sound, like injecting dopamine straight to the lizard brain with every trigger squeeze.

I want them to add a BFR in at least 30-30 so I can clown on armoured suspects with both of my weapons .

I often go for .300 Blackout on BRN180 and Glock for my sidearm, both are equipped with AP rounds. Shredded suspects with minimal recoil, while small enough for intense cqb situations. Btw, your voice also resembles a lot like Xbox Ahoy, which is also one of my most favourite content creators.

you really don't need a battle rifle when 5.56 AP just works a lot of the time, also 300 BLK

Nice video and also respectable choice of weapon. In my case for pistols i mostly run usp45 or fn 57 with ap round since i prefer spam than accurate shot. For shotguns, overall the dev kinda nerf the shotgun to the point where unarmored suspect can tank a point blank buckshot to the chest and they havent add a proper pain mechanism to the ai so they can just stand pretend getting hurt. For rifles sa 58 is the best on paper but during gameplay both recoil and 20 rnd mag can put u on a tight spot so i only give it to ai teammates while i run arn 18 or slr 47, both have 30 rnd, and decent firepower against steel plate target

Nice video, but I have to comment about your recommendation that people who can, pick up a weapon that can defeat armor. nothing in this video can reliably defeat level 3 hard armor. and only the battle rifle can reliably defeat level 3A soft armor. Shotguns at close range stand fair odds, but its not a sure thing. and you wont find anything less than 50 cal, that can reliably defeat mid range level 4 plates. High level 4 plates may even stop a 50 cal round past a certain distance. unfortunately, the only thing that defeats body armor reliably is shot placement. my reccomendation for handing an armored threat is to try to shoot their gun and put it out of commission. a 9mm has enough power to render inoperable the average rifle (ar or ak pattern) pistol (any of them), or shotgun ( again, take your pick) with a single shot in the right place. (bolt/ bolt carrier group, barrel/gas tube, buffer tube, recoil spring, mag or mag well, Magazine tube, feeding gate, trigger or trigger housing, grip, slide, cylinder etc.

I viewed lots of ballistic reports for armors during a job before, and from what I can tell, .357 magnum is never meant to go against ceramic plates, 556ap(or ak's ap rounds) at CQB range will destroy ceramic plates renders it unable to stop anything within 3 shots, and non of the body armors were designed to go against .308ap at CQB range, they may stop some, but it always counts as Perforated, the deformation at the back is too great, so my choice against armors is 1. A full auto AR with 4 AP mags + 2 hollow point, puts down everything with a controlled burst(90% dead on the spot), but needs to manage recoil like a tier 1 operator. 2. A .308 AP to destroy all and 1 hollow point mag for situation that requires no over penetration, it fires like it's a sniper rifle, rarely needs to double tap, but over penetration is terrible, gotta aim careful with every hit.

The .357 revolver is effective and is great with the shield *when it works*, but it seems to jam every single time I carry it. I can fire off a few shots, even reload a time or two, and then it jams and can't be fired or reloaded anymore, making it useless for the rest of the map. I've never had any other gun jam like this in RoN. This is kind of ridiculous, a revolver is probably the most reliable handgun ever built.

You forgot to mentioned this: buckshots spread, while slugs is one solid slug and you have to aim for the kill, otherwise you're dead if you miss :)

It's odd hering information that is true in game but not IRL, while talking about things that are done IRL. If I was not well informed on this topic I would be confused and think that 308 can defeat level 3 plates, or that 556 cannot defeat level 3a vest.

The general rule: Against unprotected or lightly protected targets, buckshot and any handgun caliber is fine. If you don't expect more than one or two armored targets at most, it's entirely valid to sprinkle someone down with ammo until they stop moving. The problem is probability. Every time you encounter a perp, there's a percentage chance you just get dropped. It's simple fate. Armor skews that just a bit. Not a lot; armor doesn't let anyone shrug mags yet, but it might mean they can get a shot off just before you stop them... And that might connect with your throat or face.

I use mp9 and dump a mag per suspect. Works surprisingly well!

I think level III hard plates can stop .357
