Plz do all the frizz videos. I have very thin hair (can see scalp when wet) and as soon as I break cast, I’m covered in frizz. Oils do nothing but make the frizz worse and make curls become stringy 😢

Always love a Friday afternoon (in UK) Courtney video and I definitely needed one about frizz today. Mine is insane right now, hard water and product build up and just generally whenever I step outside 🥺! Totally know what you mean about the gel situation, had an experience this week when I applied a gel and I just felt my hair shrink and dry straight away, not a good feeling 😱. More frizz videos please! Have a lovely weekend! And your hair still looks amazing even with a little frizz!x

I struggle w build up frizz, humectant frizz Frizz! My hair is fine wavy low to med. density but my hair is also dry. So it’s tricky. I clarify pretty regularly w lighter clarifiers so to not dry out my curls. Before I went CGM I was a greasy and a frizzy I had to wash my hair every other day. I was using sulfates. It’s a vicious cycle. Now that I don’t use sulfates I can go 4-5 days between washes. Thanks for the info pretty sure I have product build up from poly quats after watching the info you provided. It’s a balancing act for sure. Thanks again! 😊

Thanks for this video! I have a big problem with frizz. I never have a day without it. I'm hoping it just because I'm just 5 months in my hair journey. I am learning that there are some gels my hair does not like. The cantu stay humidity hold gel made my hair so mad. I had frizz just a few hours later after using it on my hair. Looking forward to a day when my frizz finally calms down.

I didn't know Neutrogena did away with their clarifying shampoo. Why is it when there's something we love, they stop making it!
@ironrose01
@ironrose01 Год назад
So something I has started doing was layering different shampoos/cleansers. Like I'll started with a co-wash and than used a scalp cleansing shampoo such the pro-biotic scrubbing shampoo from Curlsmith or the Guava & Ginger shampoo from Cantu which as salicylic acid in it. And then sometimes i’ll follow that with the curl shampoo from Not Your Mother’s naturals line, the pink bottle. I don't do this every time I wash my hair but I do some combination of this. Even just a co-wash and the Not Your Mother's shampoo. That works well for low poo days. Anyways, follow this up with your favorite deep conditioner and wow. It helps so much. I was inspired by the videos of the professional scalp treatment videos.

@tephwilliams
@tephwilliams Год назад
Thank you! I’ve been dealing with wet frizz and after determining it probably wasn’t my portion moisture balance I haven’t known what to try next. Now I think it’s a buildup of polyquaterniums in my hair based on this video and the fact that after going through my hair products the issue started when I tried a product that not only has polyquaterniums, but also doesn’t seem to agree with my hair for another (as of yet unknown) reason. When was the Suave Daily Clarifying shampoo discontinued? I just checked the website for my local Target and they seem to have it in stock. If it was true my discontinued I wanna stock up while I can, but if it’s more of it just not being sold in some parts of the US anymore then it’s not quite a dire. 😂
@karamyrenfrow5065
@karamyrenfrow5065 Год назад
It wasn't discontinued, just reformulated with a different sulfate (sodium c-something pareth sulfate.) Some say that's a harsher sulfate than the laureth, but I disagree. Seems milder (but still good for clarifying) to me, at least based on the performance of the strawberry shampoo (which I 've been using to clarify both before and since the formula change.) I think all (definitely many) of the Suave products that contained the laureth now have the pareth.
@tephwilliams
