Glad to see you back! Watched both your videos, as always very inspiring. Losing one close person is tough. Had the same experience than you with my mum when I was 8. I got a lot of hidden anger and it affected my relation with people in general because I thought it was unfair that my mum was gone (and she stayed with me at home as well) but recently I had to go through therapy (im 35) and accepted that she made the choice of not undergoing treatment for cancer and I will never know why but that was her choice and I should respect it. Also not miraculous tips but working has been helping me keeping my mind structured, writing (a lot) has helped me taking out my emotions and practicing sports as well. Acceptance took a long time for me but that s the only way as far as Im concerned to go through tough times. One reading helped me "the kubler ross 5 stages of griefs" as it shows the different stages of grief in a structured way and kind of helps identifying where you are at every stage of grief, acceptance being the last one. Hope this helps :) Again thank you for your videos and hope you enjoy Albania ! Btw - I decided to launch my VA biz soon after watching your videos ;)

Hey Florence! Good choice on therapy, it's well underrated and it's hard when you lose someone as a child, because you don't have any way of processing it - and it just keeps coming back round in the weirdest ways. I agree with you on writing, that's helped me a lot in different ways, and it also allows me to notice that things have changed and improved and I just didn't see it yet. Amazing news on starting the business! Are you enjoying it? Life in Albania is pretty chill, so I can say I enjoy the slower pace right now.

@@JessicaDornieden I guess adults and kids have different way of processing the loss of a parent and the way the absence is dealt with might be more affecting a kid than an adult because a kid needs guidance. Also the positive of this (because I always believe there is a positive in every situation) is that it learns that simple things are important such as saying people you love that you actually love them, and not for a particular reason. Just because life is too short to not say things. Regarding the biz, I love building it even if its quite complicated in france :) will keep you posted Enjoy Albania :)

@@Flo2998 Yes very true! And I do feel we don't spend enough time with the people we care - often because we can't. We're tied into work commitments and then time just passes and suddenly you realise you didn't make the most of it, because you didn't appreciate it in that time. And it's the best attitude to see not so positive experience as simply being a lesson where we can get something from it no matter what. What's making it complicated in France? I hate it when official structures get in the way of just doing your thing! Us Germans know how to do that very well too -.-

@@JessicaDornieden its a bit the same than at work, with experience you learn how to focus on the essentials to make it more worthy. Like for example spending more quality time with your beloved ones and not necessarily doing extraordinary things just enjoying simple stuff. Re the business, France is a great country to get in the way of entrepreneurs through bureaucracy, tax, ...freedom comes at a high price I guess :) Is the enlightened penguin channel still on? Or have you changed the title?
