This is very personal and honest video about my struggle with addiction and living with liver disease. For 7 years I have been battling chronic cirrhosis of the liver and since I went vegan my health has dramatically improved.
For the first 4 years after I left hospital a scan of my liver scored 75kpa. That's the worse possible score. After around a year being vegan it dropped to 41. A year later it dropped to 33.
I want to use my experience to help others and share my story of how I stayed sober and rebuilt my life.
I'm not a doctor or nutritionist but without a doubt a plant based diet has helped my body heal beyond belief.
