If someone EVER rejects YOU: Turn around flip your hair and act like they be trippin' (SORRY Shanaynay moment there *clears throat*) because THEY are. Yeah it hurts alot. Believe me I know.... anyways, they really are. alethea fleming you have to remember two extremely important things: ONE: People are harters, so what, you can't control the whole world!!! and TWO: MOST PEOPLE ARE COMPLETE IDIOTS. Thats just the world we live in. Just forget about all the people who try to put you down, and rise to be better than them. Like going to a highschool reunion and you have like a million dollar paying job and everyone else there who were your old classmates is just there for the free food cuz all that time they was hatin on you they was screwing up they lives. In grade 2 i always got bullied because i was fat but then i reported it to my father my father told the principal and in grade 3 EVERYONE was my friend but then in grade 4 i had to change school.... IT WAS THE BEST DECISION OF MY LIFE i meant tons of people there and i showed them my personality and they liked me for who i was. Heh. Easy for you to say. I've had to deal with 5 rejections over the course of about two months. -The first one was someone who flirted with me in the seventh grade and turned out to be a lesbian. -The second one was someone I had meet recently who had turned out to be a lesbian. -The third one was a girl I had liked in the eighth grade who said she thought dating was pointless, but I know she just looked down upon me because she's a lot smarter than me. -The fourth girl was the first girl's ex. That was an awkward conversation. -The fifth girl was a girl who gave me her number, smiled at me, was really nice to me, until I discovered she wasn't a virgin, she was a huge locker room talker, and she was already dating. All of these have proven to me that I am the inferior gender, I'm not smart enough, and I'm too innocent to date, and that I should give up and try to keep my sanity alone in life. Oh yeah, and I need to deal with horrible stress and aspurgers, while not having any human being prove to me that I can be something in the eyes of someone other than my parents. How do you fix this mess? 😳

Can somebody tell me what I should do? There are 5 days left of school, and 2 of my friends grew really close. We all had a sleepover, and then another the next weekend. This weekend one of my friends (we'll call her Penny) made a "truth is" video. All of them took place at my other friend's house(we'll call her Jenny). They said I'm like their bestie, but as they progressed over night, I noticed they took place at Jenny's house(a sleep over, of course). For a second, they flashed images of another friend. Jenny said that girl was barely her friend. A few weeks ago, at Jenny's house, her friend and Jenny were total ******* to me for no reason. They ran away from me laughing and said "We don't like you!". Jenny says it's a joke, but it really hurt my feelings. So the three were spending the night together, and didn't care to invite me? It's sad when we're rejected by our own family members - those who are supposed to be with us for life - my Sister & her family, one of my Brothers & his family, & my Son. Ever since my Mom passed on nine years ago, our family fell apart because She did'nt leave a will, therefore the money issues ensued, & caused estrangement issues. Estrangement is not normal, but in this day & age it has become the norm. It's a sad state of affairs. Thanks for posting these videos, & for trying to help people.

I can still feel the pain inside from school of wanting to be with a group and them saying no and then a certain bully with his small group of friends decided to terrorize me at a park when I was looking to enjoy myself at the dock at golden lake park near my house Also being rejected from going to gatherings with the people who I thought were my friends, that part hurt far more because it made me question who my real friends are and developing trust issues with people. I've gotten rejected to the point where I don't feel much besides the sinking feeling. It's like I expect to be rejected harshly and get harsh criticism when I go up to someone. Life can be really harsh sometimes. Just have to keep moving I guess.

It's a long story but there was this girl I liked and I got closer to her over the past few months. I was going to make the move but she texted me out of the blue (before making a move) saying: "You know I don't want to be any more than just friends right?" I replied with "Oh I gtg now" After I left, I watched TV for an hour since I was hurt and then later, checked my phone again. I got all these messages but they weren't from this girl. Some of the messages was from a guy in my class who I've always despised but I never told him that. Anyway, this guy started texting me and humiliating me because I got rejected. How did he know? My crush was having a group chat with him and another girl about how she was going to tell me that she's not interested. I get these messages and voice mails from the guy and he's calling me a 'pussy' and a 'faggot.' What should I do to him? Should I forgive the girl- I did stick up for her before but she didn't do it back? What should I do?

Spinlok Then, take a step back and try to see what went wrong and why, and check if you have some control over the "why" it went wrong. Can't do anything? Then, that's sad, but that's the way it goes. Can do something? Then do it. As long as it's legal, moral, etc., but do it.

My best coping mechanism for rejection is learning to spot the flaws in my crush or social group, or even a friend, the things I hate. It backfires sometimes, but it prevents you from asking out someone and getting rejected, as you don't ask somebody out if you hate them.

One of the biggest rejection in my/our life is the rejection of our success in Life. Our passion to travel, sometime using a motorhome, to visit this vast country and learn of other land yachts owners. We all share each others life and come away with knowledge. Family, on the other hand, is full of self-center drama brought about by 3 drama queens. We believe in ourselves and dismiss the idea that we are harmful to our family. They do not value anyone elses experience or advice. We are gone!

A while ago I broke up with my ex-boyfriend, I didn’t feel we connected the way couples are supposed to. All fine, we ended up in good terms and everything went organically. Later, I started getting my attention on a good old friend of mine, noticing how he was everything I asked of my previous relationships, we actually had lots of things in common, matched tastes and most importantly we were both bisexual. Ever since he became so nice to me I started feeling things for him, even flirted with him and got flirted back, but I think I was too suffocating, because after last night where I wasn’t exactly “subtle”, I’ve noticed how he’s more cold. He hasn’t really said “no” or “I don’t like you that way”, but I notice when things aren’t right.

No matter how hard I try to forget and accept the rejection I had received 3 years ago, it just keeps coming back to haunt me. I was rejected from a girl that I had a small crush on when I was in middle school. When high school came, I began to develop feelings for her. When the time came for me to reveal my feelings to her, I was rejected. This rejection broke who I was. The reason why it is so hard for me to accept and forget this rejection is because she lives right next door to me.

Many of the resources on our suicide episodes are also for those with depression. Check out organizations like the UK-based Samaritains or National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. Depression is a treatable disease that won't go away overnight, rather that can be managed over a lifetime!

I worked hard for three months with two hours of sleep a day to make a portfolio for my dream school. My audition went great, but my interview was with a woman with very high expectations. She judged all my paintings and said that she didn't understand what my message was, and that I tried a little too hard and seemed desperate. I got my rejection letter a week later. All my friends got interviewed by another interviewer. They were all accepted. Ever since, I have been acting rather strangely, one second I would be thinking it was the best say of my life, and the second, I would be bawling and burning my paintings. People called me psycho, and my friends stayed away from me. I was rejected by my friends, the people who were accepted. I don't know what to feel. I can't focus doing m homework because I feel like I can't breathe. My hands keep shaking please help

my friend really liked this girl but didn't realise that he was stuck in the friend zone ,so he told her about his feelings and she smiled and the two of us thought there was hope. boy were we wrong ,a few days later he received a DOUBLE SIDED rejection letter from her say how much she hated him for saying that and that obliterated all of his self esteem ,but man will marriage be a problem for him ,tragic.

Yeah, it is terrible to be rejected, been there, done that. And I always remember that saying "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger" to cope with it until you adapt to the new stand of things and can move on without any resentment or bad feelings, because grudges are also killers.

Thanks for tips given. You know I've been rejected by friends (which I consider to be a friend) in school trips when I was 17 years old. On the last day of school trips, we stopped at shopping centre. A friend, A and I promise to walk together. I waited outside the restroom whena group of my friends coming in. They try to convince A to leave and go with them but A refused. At that time I knew that I was in fact rejected by people that I consider as my own friends. There was only me and A after that. And I realize that A was a true friends.... I asked her why she did not want to join them? She say that she feel lazy and tired to walk around. But I know that she tried to keep my heart from hurt by their actions. Thanks A :)

I did this, before even watching the video after feeling low and it really does help. My only issue now is stress: I have so many different clubs and goals and motives that I get wrapped up in it all and there's never a moment to sit down!
