Testicular Torsion isn't something young blokes talk about very often, but it should be.
There exists a widespread culture where guys are expected to "man up" and endure the pain, but when it comes to testicular pain, seeking help early is absolutely essential. It's seriously nothing to be embarrassed about! A video about my own experiences with torsion and what I learnt from it :)
My Timeline
9th December 2015 - Diagnosed with left testicular torsion (540 degrees). Double orchiopexy performed with dissolvable sutures at Royal North Shore Hospital, St. Leonards
23rd of January 2016 - 6 weeks post-op, return to sports and other physical activity
24th of February 2016 - Full recovery! Last follow-up appointment with my urologist.
