I am going to miss this show so very much. Castiel's love confession is one of the most beautiful I've ever seen. It would have been interesting if Dean had had more of a chance to react, or if Cass had been addressed more in the last two episodes but I'm glad that he finally got to admit the truth. That all he needed to truly be happy, was to say it. He's right. It's not in the having, it's simply in the being.

You see so many stories and movies of a completely lovey Dovey couple who are just constantly in sync but there's an unexpected pregnancy after which the mother is way more focused on the child and the father feels a little annoyed like "ok but what about me". That's Cas and Dean.

@QueenMegaera There's certainly similarities with the Antichrist episode (the kid who accidentally kills people with joke shop stuff because he's heard it's dangerous and turns Cas into an action figure after Cas tries to kill him), so I'd say it's likely It's been a while since I read the book and I couldn't remember if 'to the world' was lifted from the book or not
Okay but seriously, there was so much sexual tension between those two throughout the series 😭 I’m happy Dean got his development, but I’m sad that they didn’t go through with the romance scene. I know Jensen wasn’t comfortable with it, so I can’t be too mad… but I can still be sad that none of us got that closure.
Not when one confesses their love for the other. Also love can be romantic and not sexual, we’re just celebrating the loving aspects of their relationship (however you see it). It’s you who took it as sexual soooo… look into that.
