Dean Chris Wetjen worked with Aiden Fucci when he got frustrated during classes. He recalled an incident when Fucci threatened to throw a classmate out the window
When my daughter was in 8th grade, she was threatened multiple times by a boy in her class. He threatened to stab her. Since I found this on our computer, I printed it out and brought it to the school and police. This boy was expelled immediately but kept threatening my daughter by saying he had friends that would do it for him. For the rest of the school year she was escorted to classes, lunch and bathroom. There was a no contact order on him and his family moved far away and got him mental health help. Why was this guy allowed to attend this school especially after threatening a fellow student?
I'm glad you went to police. I think if you just went to school, they would bury it. I was threatened by 2 girls on the bus. For no reason. They started bullying a 6yr old, then younger students then me. I told. They were told you will be permanently expelled. That stopped that in its tracks.they were on scholarship..
These Florida schools are a joke. No wonder they rank among the lowest in the country. The very fact that this 'dean' did not recognize there may be some mental illness involved and refer him to the school psychologist or another doctor shows his incompetency. Why did it take the prison doctors to diagnose Aiden with schizophrenia and severe depressive disorder? This clown only seems interested in discipline and not the boy himself.
@@sputniksweetheart5187 Yes, a good mother teaches her kid ways to stay out of jail but once a crime is committed the mom needs to cover that shit up. If you help put your own kid in jail you are an awful mother. She did the right thing!
I hope the judge realizes that whether he committed that murder at 14 years old or 24 years old…he’s evil and no saving him. Society is not safe with him in it.
Y’all stop…he can obviously change. The question is will he change and if his act committed is severe enough to warrant the chance he could change. If I was an orator of justice I would sentience him to 40-50 years of hard labor. I think it is unjust for a life sentence.
@@BeastMode-xl7rz A life sentence for him is unjust, but it's just that Trystin Bailey never has any life again? People like you are why there're so many nonsensical laws. You think of the killer and not at all of the person killed and their family and friends.
@@BeastMode-xl7rz There's no such thing as being sentenced to "hard labor" in the US, unless you think working in a factory that produces office furniture or training police dogs is hard.
Yeah I haven’t listened to every minute of this case but I did hear about the cameras inside the home and that did strike me as abnormal. Most of his have cameras outside to record any possible burglars but we typically don’t want our privates lives inside our homes recorded. The fact that they did speaks volumes about him and what they knew of his violent behavior.
He is not going to learn much about respect in prison…he will be separated and kept safe. This is not a discovery documentary in San Quentin, or your fav. Post Prison sentence podcast. Government is about perception, and prison systems can’t afforded to have this high profile kid hurt.
Criminal checks need to be done on all children and adults in school systems so they know firsthand who is eligible and not eligible for the education services
@@chrissiebabe234 Depends on ethic background look at how many of mass shooters wer e overlooked when clearly they had issues well before they committed crimes!
If a kid is so bad that he needs to meet with the discipline dean at a weekly scheduled thing, he should be should be sent to a custodial facility or otherwise separated from defenseless children. As soon as he threatened to throw somebody out of a window he should have been arrested and expelled.
We don't have enough custodial facilities for the amount of kids like this. There is a large group of parents doing something wrong, producing these losers, and the vast majority of good kids are likely sitting next to one of these monsters.
I'm not saying you are wrong. BUT...expell him and what happens? He goes into the local state school and causes all the students there to have compromised educations. And he kills them. Florida's education system has been broken by awful and stupid political games. In January 2021, there were 2368 teacher roles unfilled in Florida. In August 2022 it was 6000.and 5000 support staff...that is people like this man. And no one will take those jobs because of the politicians. So...throw Aiden Fucci into a school totally crippled by this situation. State schools have a legal responsibility to provide an education to every student. If they expelled him altogether, they'd have to provide him with complete homeschooling, which is far far far beyond their financial means. Plus, no one would do it. They won't take regular teaching jobs in that state. So what is the solution? Declare him mentally ill? The state is STILL responsible for his schooling, and there is no such thing as long term mental health confinement. He'd be put back in the school. The only way of getting him out of a school is...if he is incarcerated for a terribly serious crime. ie they are unable, totally unable, to do anything until AFTER he has commit a horrible crime. There is no mental health care funding. No long term mental health care, especially not residential (ie not at home). The school system has been destroyed. It was struggling, because certain politicians don't like state education. And then it was totally broken by ones who took it even further. This isn't the school's fault.
Exactly my thoughts...his mindset was only he can do something and expect everyone to go along or be ok with it and if not they were being disrespectful as far as defending themselves and or discipline...lord forbid let someone do something to him though. Kid really had some issues going on and wasnt being taken care of out of school/medically. SMH
I was just listening but not watching when this question was asked and I nearly got whiplash when he said “no”. I can’t believe that there wouldn’t be a standard form filled out for every single visit to a counselor’s office.
One of the first things you learn as an educator is to document everything. The rule is, ‘If it isn’t written, it didn’t happen.’ An effective administrator keeps notes of encounters with students.
Why did this school allow him to come into that school after 17 incidents in the prior school should’ve mediately went to a detention school what a liability
Let’s hope. If he had been beat down when he was younger he might have learned how to behave in a crowd. There’s always someone bigger who can teach him a lesson.
So, 1 incident per month 4 total, he was at the school from January 21st thru May 7th. I dont consider that good behavior. He was just getting started.
It's called going to school where people try to teach you things. Not everyone learns. What is your suggestion for how schools should interact with students?
Not just that, they did the same for his brother. So clearly the school was expected to raise the little monster that his family didn’t care to look after.
They have to follow the law. Every child has the right to a free and public education in the least-restrictive environment. Trust me, schools don’t want to try to teach students who make the environment hostile or unsafe. I’ve been an elementary educator for more than 20 years. There are always these kids who come through the system who have issues with perceived disrespect. These are often the kids who will lie about anything, trying to gaslight people into thinking they literally didn’t see what they saw. And then claim any perceived admonishment as “unfair” or “disrespectful.” We don’t get to banish kids from regular education at will. Kids will disrupt the education of their peers and cause extensive stress amongst staff and students for years before enough alternatives have been tried and documented before a student is removed from the school.
His parents babied him and let him do whatever he wanted. Good job mom and dad, now someone will never see their daughter again. WTF IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE????
So both him and his brother had behavioral issues that the parents ignored or pandered to. Both of the parents should be charged. We need to hold people responsible for creating these menaces and dumping them on other people.
Sometimes no matter how well you nurture and raise a Chile the get old enough to make really bad choices. Its not his parents fAult he killed the girl. He knew exactly what he was doing.
@@simileesimmons3102 he was a 14yr old child out past midnight. His parents clearly neglected him if both him and his brother had behavioral issues and performed poorly in school. Parents have a responsibility to raise decent human beings. His parents couldn’t care less about caring for their children.
Hearing about Fucci's disciplinary issues over the years, at schools he attended, along with his murder of Trystyn, it makes it difficult to believe that his grandma felt he was a good, happy child. I feel his family had to have been in denial and overlooking a lot of issues. So then I have to also doubt Grandma's statements that the whole family is a good, Christian family that had lots of fun together.
denial is *thee scariest emotion.* my older brother has a rap sheet that would make your head spin, is 48 and has been EXTREMELY violent his entire life and our mom would tell you to this day “hE’S a GoOd BoY.” and it makes the rest of us kids just as scared of her as we are of him.
Narcissism. People who have these lack of common sense, unaware, unable to fully comprehend and see their own flaws or beyond their lives. Usually, they raise up spoiled kids, but unaware of their actions or shallow views. I'm speaking from personal experience with my own family.
Either the grandma wasn't aware of who he really was or she was covering up his real issues while she was on the stand. It's quite possible her daughter wasn't telling her how severe it was.
All you have to do is watch his mother coach him in the interrogation room at the police station and watch the video inside her home where she's washing the blood from his jeans. She is an enabler, a liar, a very sneaky person.
I cannot believe there were no notes taken when Aiden or any student visited the administrator because teachers would be asked for dates and what took place and be expected to have notes.
I just commented on that. Right!? How the heck does he get away with that? He’s all cozy in his job. Doesn’t even have DATES and general notes about the visit. What kind of administrative professional is this?? … and he works with kids! How how how does he get away with it??
Most parents will do anything to protect their kids. Regardless of what he's done, he will always be her baby boy. I don't have children but I've heard mothers say that. No matter what they do or how old they are, they'll always be their babies. I guess it's similar to kids longing for parents that may have deserted them for one reason or another. They hurt them in all different ways but the child always forgive them.
@Kelley She had cameras in the house, and is on video washing the bloody jeans in the bathroom sink, with the door open. You see her come out of his room with the jeans, and wash them out in the sink.
It’s an abomination that this murderer gets to live. The taxpayers have to pay to keep him alive, wasting oxygen. Pure evil 👿 Bless sweet Tristan and her loved ones. May they find comfort and peace one day 💔🙏🏻❤️
Did you know that it actually costs MORE to execute a prisoner than it does to keep them incarcerated for life? If my tax dollars are going to be spent to keep an individual out of the general populace because they are a danger to others, I would rather they be kept in jail than be killed. Not being altruistic about this either. I'd rather that Fucci stay in jail and miss out on all that he stole from his victim (not experience life as a free human) and suffer himself than to be dead and not have to think about the thing he did any longer.
@@MarcRajotte-hv8hw yes, and it’s too bad that we can’t have that kind of justice today. We’d immediately see far less, if any, of the most heinous crimes (school shootings, mass killings, etc) if justice could be served that way.
The dean function is to walk around the school and to be seen...???? He thinks Aidan Fucci was very mature...???? The dean never took notes during his interviews with Fucci....???? How he could remember and keep track of everything said during the conversations...???? If the dean is not a psychologist why is he giving advice to trouble students...??? Fucci came from a prior school where he had over 17 incidents, that's a very high number and indicates something really wrong in a pathological level was going on with him,why he was never sent to have a psychiatric evaluation...???? A lot of mistakes from school, they let go through the cracks a very trouble individual, who ended up killing one poor girl in an atrocious way. Parents weren't involved in their son troubles. He was saying everywhere he was going to kill somebody and none cares . Everyone is crazy not only Fucci. God help kids.
@@kimmermq I don't think Fucci should be in any normal school,he is a very sick individual. How is possible that he was saying to his friends, girlfriend etc he was going to kill somebody and nobody cares...? It's beyond my understanding.
Every student who has on-going difficulties controlling their frustration, temper, and aggression in school settings should automatically be referred to a psychiatrist who is rrained in personality disorders and mental health wellbeing. Diagnosing brain disorders early and treating them may have great benefits for students and better outcomes for society at large.
Did not like to be disrespected, but had no problem living his whole life disrespecting others, to the point that he disrespected a young girl's right to live..
That is a problem, feeling like the word no is disrespecting him. Or that being taught appropriate behavoir... that is not disrespecting him. That makes him dangerous. Gangs have that mindset.
Sometimes, administrators will give a staff member the title of Dean who has no formal training in either education administration and supervision and/or child development and behaviors. Bet my money that this guy was still receiving a PE teachers pay. Just a Dean in that building.
Some people just don’t belong in the community. He just acted out sooner rather than later, he was and never is going to be a productive citizen. Unfortunately the correctional institutional system will not rehabilitate but instead make him a more hardened person. No matter what the sentence is, he is screwed! By rest assured he won’t be a threat to the community as long as he is locked up💯
There's no cure for sociopathy. This isn't a "phase" he's going through. "Therapy" isn't designed for this, and has no tools to reach a personality like his. If he gets out, he will emerge as a hardened criminal.
I can’t believe these teachers or administrators don’t keep notes of interactions and/or meetings with students. Not even voice notes? It’s beyond me why they don’t think it’s vital to document
Omg 17 times he was in trouble at another school. WTF! Omg when kids were that bad at my school they were expell. Wow if he has a disability emotionally for his behavior why didn't the mom get him counseling. And his defender doesn't want pass school history to be used in the trail why, because he threaten a female student and his has 17 disciple write ups.
Do you think the school knew the parents wouldn’t do anything and tried to help as much as they could? Schools are the worst now though. They’re so wimpy!! 17 times would’ve gotten me expelled!! You’re right though, his parents should have put him into counseling. It might’ve helped, now it’s too late. Hopefully he’ll get some help in prison.
And that's where his IEP protected him. Emotionally disturbed students basically get away with behavior regular students cannot. I'm sure many people at his school know a lot regarding his bad conduct, but speaking up to share will cost them their job.
"Why didn't the mom get him counseling?" Aiden Fauci was medicated with Remeron, lithium and Zyprexa when he committed his crime. Not sure what other drugs this young man was put on before ...that's the drugs his doctor recommended probably after his mom tried to get him help.
I am a former teacher of 7th and 8th grade and later, English 101 and 102 at a local Community College. After viewing this testimony and the testimony of a former teacher, I am convinced that we are failing our youth. The goal should never be to have a child move onto High School or to pass them to a different school. How many times have we seen school shooters who have a history of discipline issues that the schools are aware of? Instead of the woke agenda and cancel culture, we should demand better from our school districts, teachers, school administration and parents.
I’m less interested in his schooling and more interested in what aspects of his upbringing/home life made him this way. It’s not normal for kids to be a lot more mature than their peers, especially when combined with aggression and disdain for authority. It can be a sign of a difficult or unusual circumstances during childhood in some way or another.
@@hopeful6157 I mean, considering what his mom is being accused of, I’m assuming that his up bringing probably wasn’t top notch. Maybe his parents, at least his mom, didn’t pay attention to what he was watching/doing in his free time or let him get away with a bit too much growing up and if he’s an actual psychopath, that’s certainly didn’t help.
@@hopeful6157 he was the oldest child but he had a different father than his younger siblings. I’m sure his mother felt bad about this to some degree and didn’t wanted him to feel like an “other” in the family. So maybe she was too lax on him, despite his being a difficult child, just so that he wouldn’t feel like he was being treated differently from her other children. Difficult family circumstances don’t always have to be overtly malicious in order to be harmful to a child. Of course, this is all speculation based on what I’ve seen and read regarding their family dynamic. I don’t actually know, it’s just speculation on my part.
This is a tragedy that could have been prevented... aiden told his girlfriend that he wanted an had fantasies about stabbing someone. He played with a knife on his girlfriends throat.. this whole thing could have been prevented if the girlfriend spoke out an told an adult what she knew... tristyn would be alive today... what is wrong with people
@@tsquared4831 you are talking about a 13-14 year old girl who probably was very infatuated with this boy. So, she probably was either too scared to talk or she thought he was just bluffing. Several times he mentioned how successful his mentoring was and how much Aiden improved…Ummmm yeah, he stabbed a beautiful child 114 times; I’m not sure all his mentoring was as much of a smashing success as you believe sir 🙄
Ah more like CYA, he did nothing but talked, until his head rattled....in one ear and out the other with all his so called mentoring. He should find a different career.
The School System and Deans kept him under Discipline - but at Home he did what he wanted; and mom and/or dad covered it up for him.. Creating a Monster! And, I agree telling someone that he would throw them out of a window - he should not have been around other defenseless children with his Behavior issues!
Mom and dad likely thought the school was counseling him to become a good boy….. and, they just left it at that. I think the young girl told him no and he flipped out. I hope he never gets out of prison but you know some day he will.
I’m certainly not condoning Aiden’s actions but kids don’t suddenly become narcissistic sociopaths. They’re influenced by their environment and people around them (parents). By all accounts, his parents have failed him in every aspect. Who the hell doesn’t teach their kids about respect, humility towards others and discipline them when required? It holds them accountable for bad behaviour. They grow up narcissistic, thinking they can do whatever they want - it’s crucial they have that guidance in life. Now he’s destroyed not only poor Tristyn’s life but everyone in her family and friends as well as his own.
Untrue. Sorry but Ted Bundy had a great childhood and even spoke out many times standing up for his parents saying it isn't their fault I'm a seriel killer. A child's upbringing doesn't necessarily always influence their ability to become killers, etc. Perfect metaphor for this is.. Genetics loads the gun, personality and psychology aims it, our experiences pull the trigger.
Or maybe because Aiden Fauci was medicated with Remeron, lithium and Zyprexa. And who knows what other drugs he took during his young years that messed up his brain.
Some parents are just in denial about how their kids really are, refuse to deal with it, and it leads to crimes like this. If you really want to help your kids, you have to be in reality and accept what’s really going on, or accept your child’s life either dead or in jail forever. Some will never be helped, but I’m sure there are many who can be helped.
Out of a million people, or 300 million, there will be many who think about killing, some who seriously consider it, and a couple who actually do it. Its a numbers game. Why does a particular person do it? Because its always going to be someone. The dumbest, least well adjusted, impulse control issue, no coping skills, anger management problem, is going to be the guy who does it. Somebody will always have that perfect storm of behavioral problems.
This is contradicted to what his gmom just said on the stand.....🫢...she didn't know him like she thought ...to see a disciplinary counselor means he had anger issues
There should be a record of every time a student has a session with the Dean of Students. Everyone has an App on their phones called, “Calendar”, it’s that simple. Any,ANY interaction when students go for guidance MUST be accounted for! To have NO record is unacceptable.
In school suspension 2times and 1out of school suspension. This math discipline is so administrators don’t lose these resources-meat in the seats. Keep the $$$ in district. Unless a victims family has made situation a legal matter then the district will run. They will not risk losing more $$$. This Woke Education has no backbone. They’re petrified of parents and kids.
Why spend time with the Dean for homework without any guidance or just basically find out what the child is thinking.. They need more specialized help with these cases.
Throwing a girl out of a window????? And you people didn't put him in thehospital or a facility that could attempt to help Adia??? Not a suspension, as he needed much more helo

What did you hear that makes you think there was anything like that going on at his school? His grandmother damn sure didn't come across as the "we're all winners type", more like a Bandido's old lady. I bet there ain't a trophy in her entire trailer unless it's got something to do with bowling on top
I know his mother and father are divorced... how did his father treat his mother? Listening to this and hearing he threatened to throw a girl student out of the window...he had 'respect' issues with girls.... domineering, not?
This questioning proves grandma & mom are blatant liars covering up for this kid. Excessive number of discpline issues in excess of 17. He's a good kid, funny, sweet...
Children who act out at school and have anger management issues are lashing out because of dysfunction in his home life. Children need love, structure, discipline and taught to respect others. If the parents are dysfunctional amd home life is unbearable this is how children act out.
17! Number of incidents for disciplinary action? He had a temper and did not like being disrespected? The school prior to coming in to this school with this Dean? Red flags red flags red flags! People/parents Splash Deen's choose to put their head in the sand. The authorities should have been at this kid's house years before on a biweekly basis! Obviously he was an entitled brat and his parents are the core issue. WTF
Probably issues with the stepfather and antisocial tendencies resulting in using violent gaming/ online activities to escape! To him she was probably the popular unattainable peer who seem to have it all, made him feel less and he hated it. Many school aged kids get fed up with the cliches hierarchy and fantasize about those peers not being a part of their life. Horribly enough, he lacked impulse control and turned complete psychopathic. The fact he harmed her isn’t as surprising as how gruesome the manner was in which he did it.
Or perhaps these nice people accidentally spawned a demon and they were terrified of him burning down the house while they slept or killing them in their sleep? Maybe he was on his best behavior at school and really turned it up once he got home. His parents had surveillance cameras RECORDING INSIDE THE HOUSE. That's not something you do if you are mr and mrs we're all winners everyone gets a trophy lol
