Welcome back Dean, nice to see you back on it, all these years it looks like I’ve been fishing the tides all wrong at the Knap, mostly two up and two to three down ….. have to give low water a go and then back up, looking forward to part 2 👏👍
Even Dean picks up by watching other anglers and adapts, every day a skool day,,, as shore anglers this is key. Let's be honest the boats do whatever they want,,,, however with a bit of thought the right gear rigs and baits we can still smile. Welcome back Mr Booker 🎣💣😁
Morning fela I've been fishing all my life along the channel boat ,beach, digging bait. And I've reverted to methods I fished with back in 1990 . 12inch hook length and I've had 9 lbs bass hounds. When sole fishing up the top of the channel size 1 And 1/0 - 8 inch hook length loads of fish . Hounds, rays on short hook lengths. We found that it keeps the bait in contact with where the fish are looking for food on the sea bed... I havet changed much over my 40 years of fishing and I've had some very good bass up to 9lbs 3oz love it . O by the wayYou are not allowed to fly a Dron on the flight path of any airport. Come on Deen 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤦♂️🤔
A great mark I went today is inside old Harbour small 1/0 bait hooks or smaller with some rag with a 2oz lead and caught 3 seabass within an hour all on light gear
hi Dean and good to see you back. What about a loop rig version of that 2 hook dongle set up? Would cast better than a 7ft long 2 hook clip down and probably eliminate the wobble you mentioned?
