Matt Helm and Mannix in the same room is unbelievable. Dean Martin and Mike Connors are two very good looking stars. Always love Ken Lane on piano. Plus a hilarious musical number added in. Makes for great television.
A subtle example of how Dean elevated fellow performers. Note how his every facial expression creates more laughs for Leo. He genuinely enjoyed seeing others do well which is why so many wanted to perform with him.
Leo DeLyon is amazing! Hysterical comedy and brilliant voice control. This guy must have one of the longest vocal ranges ever. He's singing those high notes in that woman's voice with no falsetto and then down in that baritone range in that male opera singer bit! That is unheard of. Also to go from sound effect to vocals and all over creation as he did is remarkable as each vocal or sound effect is so clean and crisp. Most people trying that would really rough up their voice doing that, but from the little I've read on the FB page that his son posted here, he'd been doing these kind of bits for years. What an incredible talent!
He's like not so sure about what's happening but quite enjoyed with what he saw.😅😂😂 They're great. I always have a good time with The Dean Martin Show. Thank you for uploading.
What a great group of talent! Love Leo DeLyon in this skit. And anyone who provided voices to Spook and Brain in the old Top Cat show as he did is A-OK in my book.
This episode certainly kept the toupee adjuster (and maker!) busy. I'm counting 3 of 'em (except Leo)... Irving Levin (Leo De Lyon) is still around (92 y.o.) in 2018.
May your soul continue forever Mike Connors.....you were my favorite detective! I wish you would fight the Green Hornet. Because you were a better fighter than Van Williams ever was, but not Bruce Lee!
