Everything Michael said was true - its the darkest part of Dean that he thinks but suppresses. It's understandable and fair. Most times, it's not Dean screwing up - it's everyone else and it's on him to clean it up - to save the day - to fix their mess. Dean's never lived his own life - he's always lived for others. Sam and then all of the innocents, the fate of the world, of the entire universe. The odds keep getting worse, the cost higher, what's on the table just gets bigger and bigger. It's no wonder Dean is lost and broken. It's what makes him the best, the greatest hero - that he's so broken, so lost, so hopeless - but yet he keeps fighting!
YES. I do agree that Dean does mess up, but even after that he keeps that with him and does his best to atone. He does all of that while helping others such as Sam and Cas and he still doesn't get trusted. They almost always hate on him when he can't trust them after what they had done, but it's a lot for him to still keep them with him and take care of them while not trusting them. But idk if it's just me but they never trusted him from the start. First it was Ruby season 3 and 4, Holding on Michael in season 5, Cas and his deal with Crowley season 6, Trials with Dean and the Angel tablet in season 8, Getting rid of the mark of Cain will do more damage than good season 10, About the cage and Lucifer season 11, Men of Letters season 12, Taking the Casket to the bottom of the ocean season 14. Not to rant lmao I love Cas and Sam, but c'mon every time dean does his best to believe in you guys even with his deppresion and anger problems the best you can do is believe in him too. It honestly made me mad when they thought Deans whole casket in the ocean idea was stupid bc it was honeslty the only option unless they wanted Michael the kill innocent people again. They could have agreed and understood where dean was coming from and while he was down there they could have found a way to save him so he couldn't feel guilty about taking more innocent lives. Rant over imma go cry now. That's just how I see it tho.
I think michael was half right. I mean everything he said was true but he's leaving out that dean actually does love them and that they are his family. Nobody asked Dean to bring Sam back from the dead or to forgive cas for breaking the world. He did that because he can't live without them. So as much if a burden as they are to him, he might just be as big a burden to the people he can't let go off than he realizes.

For Sam, Dean is a hero, always doing the right thing because he thinks he screws up everytime he tries to help Dean, Dean as a parent often thinks it's nothing but Dean has done many things to bring Sam back, he has done things for him because he can't live without him, Sam also want to save his brother's life from mark of cain (that not even Dean knows how much damage it'll do and in the end he agreed). Sam screwed up with Ruby, Soulless Sam part, Charlie's death, Lucifer's arrival, he made many mistakes and almost every hunter blames him, hell for most of the 4th season Sam was called an abomination more than I can count. Sam is not as paranoid as Dean, he sometimes trusts too easily like a freaking normal person, he trusted Ruby because he wanted to kill Lilith, save his brother, never let her open the cage, how was he suppose to know that Lilith is the last seal? Sam is insecure and does reckless things because for once he wants to show his brother that he can handle things too without messing it up, he can once save Dean and not the other way around. I mean those demon trials could have closed the gates of hell for good, no demon crimes, it was for the greater good but Dean stopped Sam because he can't live without his little bro, I don't blame Dean for doing that, I am actually proud of him. But why it is bad if Sam did the same thing when he stopped Dean to throw himself in the ocean, for all we know, they couldn't have saved him once it was deep in the ocean, how could they? Sam couldn't live without his brother too! And for all we know it would have taken a year atmost to break free of that box. I mean comeon Jack came out of it in less than 10 minutes, Michael being less powerful but still being the strongest archangel would have taken atmost months to get out if not days. That was a temporary solution to a permanent problem, I mean was there an alternative plan in case he returns? What could possibly hurt one of the strongest archangels?
This is one of the saddest Dean edits I've seen in a long time. It has some of the big lines and scenes that people remember throughout the whole series. But it also includes lines and scenes almost no other Dean tribute has, the lines and scenes people slowly forgot about until they rewatched the series, the lines and scenes that slowly shaped what Dean became.
This is all exactly why Dean is Dean. He was created from heartbreak and does everything in his power to limit it for others while pushing his own aside. And when he can’t keep others from experiencing it, he owns theirs as if it’s his own. Fantastic edit.

Dean was a protector who fought to save everyone in his Life. It wasnt his fault he failed. He was a true hero who gave All to those he loved like his brother Sam. Tragic How he was a broken Hero who suffered so much......
I’m currently rewatching the show while watching edits cause I’m feeling quite horrible and Dean really is very comforting to watch even if there are sad parts.
" I believe there is a God but i am not sure he still believes in us " There was a time when I was in the dark corner in my life and I had started to resent God and didnt believe there was a God. I even contemplated killing myself but stopped thinking of my mom and dad . But Dean was my spiritual inspiration. He saved my life. Hearing this line I just resumed some part of my faith. Though today also I am still struggling with my faith but still I hold on and believe that there is a God. Only because of him. Only because of Dean.
The scene with Michael I know this is harsh but I think a part of what Michael dean said was true . He loves Sam and cas true but he has had so much responsibility. He breaks my heart . I know he is being terrible to cas which there isn’t an excuse for that . But I think dean gets angry and doesn’t know how to control it. .Also John was abusive toward them . John shaped dean into who he is. .I have read comments like dean expects too much from cas which maybe true . But I dont think dean means to that
Maybe I hate michael but he is right, dean suffer whole entire life for others and broken, also he will never stop fighting no matter what, but deep down he is desperate and he doesn’t if he died or lived 💔💔 and he’s blaming himself because of everything 💔😞
