Keep in mind we INTJ’s are judgmental, it’s in our nature, but that shouldn’t discourage you or give you pause. Also there are healthy and unhealthy people. I too went through some dark periods and fortunately or unfortunately, we know how to both hurt or uplift people. One thing is common, people don’t understand us and we do know this, but we learn to put it aside. We do feel and feel deep, but our emotions are raw and we often don’t understand them. I’m in 50’s now and understand them, but they are still strong, which is why we keep them hidden (not so much anymore). As a feeler, things affect you more, so I understand your discouragement, but take a deep breath and calm your storm. As for your survey, this is only the second video of yours I’ve seen, so not in a place to give input. With that said, INTJ’s biggest issue is relationships & trust and I’m no different, still single. Trust isn’t something I think you or anyone can help with.

Just put in mind some of these people aren't even intjs , and if you say something and someone is offended, it's his problem not yours. They should work on that if it hurts. Don't get discouraged by this dump ass egoistic so called intjs.

Wow! Two years already? Has it really been that long? As an INTJ, I just wanted to post a quick reply and let you know how much I've always enjoyed your videos. Since my step-daughter is an ENFP, I began watching your videos to learn more about our dynamic together. Your videos are informative and entertaining. Keep your chin up and just do what you love when making new content. There is A LOT of negativity on You Tube these days. Don't let the bastards grind you down Mindy.

Mindi, just come across your channel. I see you haven't posted for a while, but thanks for all the effort you put in on this channel. I've always had a fascination with ENFPs yet didn't really know any - so thanks for giving me a great education with all your videos. I hope life is treating you well 👍

INFJ here I know I'm not your target audience but well done for 2 years and I do appreciate you are doing your best. It gives me an insight into both ENFP and INTJ's types, it feels to me that you are like the sea battering yourself against a granite cliff face, irresistible force meets immovable object, I love your determination.

I am ENFP and you literally just explained our thought process in the simplist way. It's a blessing and a curse and it can be more one way or the other, it's how we control ourselves and constantly altering the way we think and percieve.
@Invisibility397
@Invisibility397 2 года назад
@@Sleeping_Dreamer if control creates Tyranny and Leadership creates unity. Then maybe the difference between this is Opression instead of Acceptance "Ego is an illusion that works until the Soul awakens" sometimes you have to consider that someone else has the correct answer to why another person is struggling. We cannot seem to see our own Traumas. Trusting blindly without any Varification is the definition of Faith. Gaslighting is the attempt to get someone to believe they didn't do something when they personally experienced it. Gaslighting occurs when someone is self deceptive with no sense of self accountability and self responsibility. Therefore it is easily verified if you ask difficult questions. This also leads into #1 paranoia ^ #2 Delusion ^ #3Dementia ^ #4Alzhiemers. Repetition over time creates Mastery Pay attention to anyone's Character Traits and match then with the Dark Triad Traits this determines someones Character Value. Social Value is based on Greed Lust Gluttony Anger Vanity. Sexual Value is also based in Negativity in modern times
@Sleeping_Dreamer
@Sleeping_Dreamer 2 года назад
I have no idea what made you write all that, but thank you, that was extremely interesting and very accurate. Its important to note that people seem to be able to convince themselves of whatever they see fit to justify things to themselves. This obviously varies greatly in ways its implemented. Repetition seems to be the "hack" for stimulating the life experience. Life experience determines someone's morals and values pretty much completely, the saying "that's the way they were raised" is very true to a point. That would make perfect sense, being self deceptive constantly and consistently over a life time would result in the brain destroying itself. To your last point is currently an area I'm very interested in. This INFJ I found on RU-vid made a video showing this very easy to read and make sense of chart for the types of people. Essentially a cheat sheet to people and what you said really goes along with that.

Internet is not a good place to take seriously what anonymous people say. I guarantee you that 95% of those people would not say the things they say online if it were to tell you to your face. They forget that what they watch is free and out of your time. They are very ungrateful, as always.
@ncognito2388
@ncognito2388 2 года назад
Sure they would. They would just call their negativity "constructive criticism". Some people on the internet are so miserable that I couldn't imagine living with them.
@Sleeping_Dreamer
@Sleeping_Dreamer 2 года назад
The important and key part of online especially with anonymous accounts is that for the most part its actual honesty, even if its negative. For me if someone is being very negative and hateful for no good reason that says a lot about that person and for me I view that with more pity then worrying about what they actually said.

Ignore the noise.. which is especially present in less than mature INTJs and people in general. You just do you. Go where your curiosity takes you, don't worry with intj-centric content...let the chips fall where they may. There will be ebbs and flows, don't worry about it. I think your channel is best when you simply delve into your discoveries and interest. .. sorta the life of Mindy. And that gives you freedom to grow in several directions.

I am one of those that gave a comment, about a year ago and I think i hurt or offended you. while i did apologize, i want to acknowledge something here....INTJ's are critical of even viewpoints they might agree with. They might come off as rude but they see it as constructive criticism which equals a compliment. It's how we express ourselves, spent time thinking about you and are trying to improve you. If that is allowed and received well, our relationship will grow. The fact that we are engaging with you is a sign of our respect. People I don't care for get left in the dust and won't get my time at all. I know that doesn't sound like much but I have watched 15 videos this week and this is the only one I have commented on. I think the great thing about an ENFP trying to attempt to reach INTJs is so interesting is that you are trying and spending time on us. We are often overlooked and ignored. The more detailed an analysis of your video we give, the more we like it. we just don't understand why its rude but it is lol. Really i don't think its our goal but we don't understand sympathy until you explain it to us in detail. You should keep going and reach your end goal. For future discussions, anything in deep detail and new knowledge is interesting to us. If we learn something, the time with you wasn't wasted. I quite literally listened to a 30 minute podcast about how "itching" works and found it really incredible. So go deep into anything, avoid vagueness, pleasantries, and sugar coating a topic. I hope that helps.
@Sleeping_Dreamer
@Sleeping_Dreamer 2 года назад
I am ENFP and I think I can give some insight. The way you explained the need to have things explained in detail is the part needed by INTJ types and is why it comes off as very dry and rude. Not being able to understand sympathy or not having the empathic emotional side when learning and interpreting information causes the disconnect and is where ENFP/INFP and even INFJ are separated from the rest (for the most part). ENFP constantly considers multiple interpretations so we like it when things are explained in clear detail, primarily with regards to overall intent. So to put it simply even though INTJ might not comprehend the emotional aspect they need to keep in mind that others do and it's part of who they are. I would think adding in a clear explanation of your intent would go far with being interpreted the way you expect to. Hope that helps and feel free to ask any specific questions if your interested.

RU-vid and RU-vid comments are infamous for being overwhelmingly negative, and a cesspit for trolls. If most of the comments have been good, then you are doing better than most other people on RU-vid. I can only guess, but the comments that have been getting you down have probably been from very young INTJs who lack maturity. However, I would say that it's not obvious these videos are for entertainment purposes - that's not really clear, which might explain some reactions. As for more INTJ content, I have a couple of ideas I will save for the form, but what if you have made all (or most) of the videos already? It's okay to reach the end of something. It's okay to have covered a topic to its conclusion, you don't have to force yourself to make more content if there's nothing left to cover.
@Sleeping_Dreamer
@Sleeping_Dreamer 2 года назад
Hey Mindi, first off I wanna say I absolutely love your content, I am ENFP myself and it's nice to watch someone that will put so much information in such a short duration in ways I completely understand. INTJs seem to come off very negative more often then not, most of the time they dont mean it that way. Keep in mind logic and reason is at the forefront but unlike INFJs they have a difficult time comprehending much of the emotional side of things as well with things that they feel go outside of logic. I love the INTJs intelligence and I often share many of the same points of view however they are the most annoying to converse with especially debates. I usually have to walk through and verbaly or visually show them and explain the connections and other reasons behind what I'm trying to say. Its extremely exhausting and I often feel like it's a waste of time because they rarely show appreciation however unlike some other types at least they typically understand what I'm saying after I've gone though the painful process of a overly detailed explanation. I understand how you can become discouraged especially when you perceive something in a negative way. Keep in mind with regards to INTJs that if you got them to engage like commenting, you know from engagement that you have their attention and that usually means you hold their interest. I enjoy your videos Mindi, I think it would be interesting to have discussion videos with other types. Having a discussion with a friend is cool but might not be as interesting compared to talking with someone you just met or dont know very well. I'd be interested in you having talks with other feeler types, INFJ especially. Doing something like that would be cool because you dont know them and dont know what to expect so I believe many great topics can come up and share ideas and experiences. Plus it's very interesting to hear from people that are around the world or at least different areas. It gives different life experiences and can be refreshing because I often hear the same type of perspectives when it comes to MBTI. For me I love INFJs and I have made a few friends around the world that are INFJ and I love hearing their view and thoughts on things because there is as much different as there is the same. The work you do and content you create I feel is essential and for me at least very much appreciated, so thank you for doing what you do. If more people understood themselves as well as others things would be so much better and easier overall in daily life.

Honestly, we shouldn't invest or base our whole existence on a personality category. From what I have seen, these types will always have things that make them different and things that are weaknesses, flaws, and shortcomings. If we are excusing our behavior with the traits common to our "type" that's just immaturity and pride. I personally don't invest too much in Meyers briggs but I have seen many traits and patterns that match up between my life and the INTJ profile. The videos that talked about the flaws and mistakes there really shone light on just immaturity and arrogance that needs to change. So I do appreciate those videos exposing and correcting them.

I am an INTJ. (confirmed by personality typers) And I am surrounded by ENFPs (and INFPs) in my life, so I really love your presentation of the information. You make Te more fun then I can! And I am sorry about those comments. I have found your content right on point and incredibly helpful. I think that some of those commenters are probably mistyped. I have a channel on Jungian Psychology @Disruptive Philosophy ru-vid.com/show-UCAkGvzEafs1KpFMRIU5AdEw and have been studying for about 6 years. I would love to hear more about your relationships with the INTJ's in your life. What being raised by an INTJ is like? Like positives and also improvements INTJ parents could make in their parenting? I am about to have children and am very curious about other peoples experiences. What are INTJ 's like as siblings? Or stories about when you have seen the INTJ's in life, excel at their lower functions and when they maybe could have done better. Just some ideas. I noticed you hadn't posted in a few months, hopefully it is just a season of burnout and not having filming locations. (I relate!) Much love!

Been thinking about this issue for a while, and this is my perspective…. As you often note, INTJs are desperate for someone to understand them, and having you explain them to themselves and in videos they can show to others has endeared them to you. INTJs love you for that. It’s why you get so many confessions of love from them, because you’re the only person most of them have ever heard who truly gets them at a soul deep level. And so your video about things you hate about an INTJ felt like a stab in the heart from someone they’ve come to care about. Probably like they’ve been stabbed in the heart so many times. It was likely physically painful to many of them, and you should know that a significant portion of your audience are INTJs and they took it as a personal attack from you. For some it probably triggered emotions from previous abuse and they lashed out at you in anger because of the perceived attack on their character. Making that video was probably not a wise choice. INTJs take a lot of crap from people and we have tough skins, so it hurts more when the attack comes from someone we let in.

This is the first video of yours that I've seen (I think), so I can't really fill out the form. Some thoughts: 1) Don't take INTJ comments personally. We're not really mean, we just come off that way sometimes. 2) Don't take INTP comments personally. They are really mean, but that's because they're terrible people and not a reflection on you. 3) Finding a girlfriend is probably the INTJ's biggest problem. If you want to tackle that, have at it.

Just relax, dear.. dont think that too much.. i am an intj female.. actually sometimes if we intj say i dont care n bla blaa blaa.. its just.. we try to express our opinion.. and not every intj refuse to change any negative sides of him/her.. i realize that we.. intj.. just same as other mbti's types.. we all have some positive and negative sides.. i think when intj says i wont ever change about this and that, its because we still dont know how much loss can occur bcz of that negative sides.. or 'that intj' is still immature~

INTJ here... Mindy, I did the survey and it didn't take 3mins, but it didn't take long either... And it was a cool way of conversing with you btw Wrt this video, I can almost feel like you wanted to cry at some point, gosh you're freaking hot when you do that, that may be the weirdest thing you've read here so far... Point is (for your sanity and peace of mind) not every INTJ will approve of you even if you do sacrifice yourself, lol, that's a bit extreme but it's the truth Some of us are just point blank critics, removing from your beautiful vibe with the dark comments But wait, hold on, I thought you saw this coming, like.. I didn't see you not seeing this coming and not having a contingency for it emotionally, lolssss, I'm just messing with you, you possibly can't know everything. And if it's any consolation, remember I'm an INTJ and I like you a lot, so think of that when you're going rough.
