When you listen to “Dear Prudence” it is so easy to get swept away by the awesome lyrics and vocals that you forget how much of a masterpiece this track is instrumentally.

From 2:57 to the end of the song, words cannot describe how perfectly and harmoniously this song was crafted. The Beatles truly were and I mean “TRULY” geniuses and the best band to ever exist.

ShadSilvs SonnyT I really hopes Apple and Giles Martin give this album a great repackage deluxe treatment as they did with pepper. They missed rubber soul and revolver but should do it from now on. Too many great unheard takes and alternate versions in the Can rotting away. Time to release it all.

Nice catch! We were thinking of doing the entire album for the 50th. The whole year of 1968 is white album for me; most of the album would be written 50 years ago by March-April

There is plenty more. The isolated stuff we have exists thanks to Beatles Rock Band. Every tape the Beatles recorded on was transferred to digital a decade ago or so. Beatles Rock Band was made by using first generation tapes before the overdubs were bounced into the 4 final tracks. All we have available now is a small selection of that which was manipulated for the purposes of Rock Band. That's why you hear all sorts of goofy stuff when listening to isolated tracks

The tracks without the vocals to distract are great. One hears things that one did not notice. It highlights the mastery. We hear a song when released but do not realize that was take 14 and maybe several hours weeks months.... before it was published.

Forget the singing, beautiful vocal harmonies, Beatles were the best instrumentalist and arrangers in the rock n roll and pop history. This is one of their many examples

This is phenomenal. The attention to detail is superb. Towards the end, where the tea towel is lifted from Ringo's snare replicates the White Album sound precisely. Love it! Great job. (Always thought it was a 12 string guitar until I saw this)

Jesus Christ the Lord. Magnificent. And I thought this was one of their most well just overall vanilla beautiful songs, which I still think. And even so better than anything done in rock and still fresher than anything I can think of. That bass movement, the beautiful guitar simplicity, the country twang of the interplay, the superb drum fills and a bridge that blows your mind. And then that old campfire guitar playing that warms the soul. Certainly this band is the greatest music composition wise ever to be produced in a studio. Chills.

In reality, the tea towel probably fell off Ringo’s snare in EMI studios Abbey Road during that part of the song when that take was recorded in 1968.

That was an excellent performance, Ably House ! Loved the original instruments, too. The best I have seen on RU-vid and the most accurate to The Beatles original 1968 recording. Well done.
