Thanks to everyone who participated and to Guilherme Queiroz from Zorak Records (Santos - SP) who lent us this beautiful vintage Premier drum set for the recording.
This is one of my favourite late-Beatles tunes and I hope we did it justice.
I particularly enjoy Macca's bass line that slides through the song bringing a forward motion to the piece. Lennon's guitar part was influenced by Donovan's finger picking which he learned while they were in India together.

All guitars were played through a Marshall Origin 20 Tube Amp and captured by both the Shure Sm57 and the sE Electronics X1-A. The Bass is composed of the sE Electronics Kick and the DI signal.
Vocals were recorded through a Rode NT2A. Percussion was captured by the Rode NT2A. Drums mic'ed by a pair of Samson C02 pencil condensers as overheads, 2 SM57's for top and bottom snare mics, and a Shure Beta 52A for the kick drum and the SE Electronics Kick for the floor tom. All acoustic guitars were mic'ed with the Stagg SRM70 Ribbon Mic.
