If I wrote as badly as Russell T Davies, then I would expect my work to be rejected. Luckily for him, no one dares tell him that he's writing utter bilge. He shouldn't be in that job. End of.

Like so much modern entertainment it's become more interesting to watch RU-vidrs' reactions to Dr Who than the show itself. And I watch them all. What seems obvious even at this early stage is that even those who are really still enjoying the show (and they're entitled to) are having a very hard time praising this one. I haven't yet seen a single take that doesn't at the very least use words like "disappointing" or "underwhelming", which they've hardly ever used before.

Thanks for these reviews. They are so much more entertaining than the show that I started watching when Jon Pertwee was the Doctor and stopped watching at the end of the first season of Jodie Whittaker (who definitely was not the Doctor). If only Rouselle would take the time to listen to some of the things you're saying (or even what a lot of the fans are saying) but of course he can't. The only voices that Rouselle ever hears come from within the self validating echo chamber in which he exists. Anyway, I'm looking forward to watching your take on the Christmas Special - it will be so much more enjoyable than watching the show.

RTD should realize, it's not about being gay or black. The real reason the ratings have dropped so dramatically is because there's too much camp and bullshit. People tuned in for Tennant's 60th special and saw a giant crazed rabbit who was blowing up London, and we're all expected to treat him like he's the second coming of Darth Vader. it's too much camp! Then there's Space Babies as the season opener. You think maybe people got the wrong idea? People want Doctor Who to be as epic as Star Wars. They don't want it to be one step above a cartoon.

It was complete shit. Just one of the many many plot holes in this garbage:- In "The Doctor's Wife", wouldn't the TARDIS say to the Doctor...FFS you have a giant rat in the TARDIS called Sutekh!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

The Doctor has never cried so much in this so called season of Doctor Poo! Empire of plop was trying to be challenging TV but was more mentally challenged for low IQ people! So a whistle and a bit of rope was enough to defeat a powerful God while everyone was keeping a straight face. Turns out the mystery of Ruby Murry was that her mum liked dressing up as a Jedi at the age of 15 and hanging round church yards at Xmas. Plot holes tick! Poor dialgoue tick! Doctor crying tick! This could have been the worst series of Doctor Who ever IMHO and it will only get worst!

With these wonderful letters, we will never need to be subject to these DREADFUL new episodes.

It's evident Davies has lost any dramatic sense in his writing. If I didn't know any better I'd think I was watching Dr. Who on The Lifetime Channel known for their superficial and weepy films which leave viewers like myself feeling nothing for the characters and their difficulties. It's not because I don't care but it's done in such an unconvincing and unrealistic manner that one doesn't care at all and worse is bored in the process. But to be fair, even the worse Lifetime film would have dealt better with an absent mother reuniting with a daughter she not only gave up but hasn't searched for. And now they are all hugs and kisses? What?! Madness, pure madness. What happened to Davies?

J. K. Rowling totally understands story telling and how to use the elements from fairytale to create a compelling story. RTD can't seem to get past what's between guys legs in his attempt to tell stories. He is so singularly boring.

What a $%^&show! Magic Susans created everywhere? The Doctor can instantaneously destroy Sutekh because.....rope? Deaths don't matter. The Doctor cries.....again. I could go on and on, but I get madder the more I think about it. This is easily one of the top ten worst hours of television ever committed to video. I wish RTD had never rebooted the show in '05. That's how angry I am.

I've enjoyed all the classic fans tearing RTD a new one. Don't go near some reviews. They don't understand classic Who or writing for our enjoyment. At least the old guard loved telling good stories and keeping us on the edge of our seats week in week out. We will be lucky to see season 2 on air, and it will be shelved again. BBC have wanted to kill off the show since Moffat departed. It's been pure woke pandering.

Does the ending make sense to anyone? Because I've tried to make it work in my head several times, and it just doesn't work. The only thing that makes sense is that this is a bait and switch, and Ruby's story isn't over yet.
