12:06 The fact that Discord writes his letter explaining what happened to his friends, which we see at the end of the battle, implies that he himself wasn't sure if he could actually beat Bill. But that didn't matter. Killing Bill was secondary, so long as he could distract him long enough to get him out of their dimension and back into the Nightmare Realm, he had alredy won in his own way. Its a great way to have both characters "win" without making either seem weak. Bill killed Discord, sure, but Discord got the last laugh. Overall, this is arguibly the best Death Battle *ever*

Yes, Bill killed Discord, but Discord will be resurrected because there is Chaos in the world and while Chaos is happening somewhere, Discord can be resurrected.

Nobody died, the villan lost but won, the hero won but lost the fight, and everyone is happy. While I still think Discord should have won, this fight has become my #1 and is not moving anytime soon

I love the ending and the personal interpreted message. In my opinion it shows that Bill will never be happier than Discord, no matter how much more powerful he is or will be. Despite their almost identical abilities, Discord has one power that Bill doesn't have: the power of friendship. This is also consistent with what the axolotl said about him: he has no friends, he has lost his family, he has inadvertently destroyed his dimension, is probably full of sadness and remorse and bitterness and only feigns cheerfulness. Perhaps he also has to live with thoughts that his family and the inhabitants of his world hate him. (I'm really glad that there are a lot of fanfictions in which Bill Cipher gets a chance at Redemption, grabs them and makes peace with the Pines and as unimaginable as it sounds, at the end of the story they become like a second family to him and he finally has a home for millions of years and the friends of the Pines are logically also his. Really heartwarming and therefore highly recommended.) Anyway, unlike Bill, Discord has a full life with a home and friends. That's what distinguishes the two. Bill may have won the battle, but Discord is the moral winner and contented martyr. What do you think about it?

14:58 Yes you can say that "AWWW" again That's actually really sad but also very heroic. He tried to destroy Bill but not just because it's a death battle but because he attacked his home and petrified his friends, particularly his best friend. I'm sure it made Discord sad that he had to say goodbye to her without being able to say goodbye to her... personally. Or that when she learns of his passing, she will be terribly dissolved. But it would have hurt him much more if something had happened to his best friend, her friends and his home. Discord's death is one the most saddest and impactful one of whole show. Additionally it is the most satisfying and lionhearted in this regard too. As for Fluttershy I'd love to be there to hug her and tell her that Discord died a hero to his friends and that we will never forget his sacrifice and honor his memory. R.I.P Discord. You have my deep respect and because of you I'm interested in watching MLP.

Issue is more times than not bill wins because he goes for the kill while discord is just having fun with the chaos and not caring about the outcome. However he played bill like a goddamn fool at the end so lose or not it's absolutely amazing how the winner of the battle looks like the loser which is absolutely so perfect of an ending. If discord went for the kill (which death battle usually doesn't take personalities into account and has heroes and villains alike go in for the kill) he could definitely have won when he entered bills mind

The fact that Discord new he wasn’t gonna win and wrote a letter to other ponies before the battle even begin and yet still rescued all his friends especially Flutter-Shy by tricking Bill into leaving their universe and into the nightmare realm, this literally made me so sad because discord sacrificed himself to save his home and friends, I don’t care if Discord lost in my opinion he’s the real winner in this episode, Bill may have won the battle but discord won the war, we love u discord 😭❤️

In my honest opinion. Despite this series being called "Death Battle", I feel like Discord won his match over Bill. From everything I've seen from Bill, his ego is huge! So to get outplayed, outsmarted, and banished back to the Nightmare Realm so easily by Discord without Bill noticing anything. That's a huge win in my book.

There were actually several Easter eggs in the fight. The one with Bendy actually hinted Bendy vs Cuphead as Cuphead was also in the fight. The other one was when Bill was playing the drums. If you look at the background, you can see Sans from Undertale peaking from the background. There was also a Rick from Rick and Morty Easter egg but I forgot were.

I can say that I watch both shows and seeing the top fighters of Bill and Discord was a huge surprise to witness both being so powerful and eventually becoming gods of mysterious abilities that are so uncommon for characters to have. But I am not not surprised at Bill winning as he seems to be the most crazy character out there in animation history. 😵‍💫 So next battle of Alex Mercer vs Cole McGrath is going to be epic battle that gotten scrapped years ago. So glad it came back and I can’t wait to see you both react to it. 😄 Even though you both are missing some Death Battles that are worth checking out. Like Fire Emblem v Berserk Death Battle that is the most insane battle that would leave you speechless on the two crazy people do for friends or facing off psychopaths with a grudge on their shoulders.

I mean, if you think about it, Discord actually won in the end and here's why. He successfully trapped Bill back in his own dimension. Discord is the spirit/aspect of Chaos. Chaos is absolute (In the sense that it will always be present in the universe) So regardless of what happens to him, he will ALWAYS return. In the end, Discord actually wins even though he lost the fight, which is so CHAOTIC! ;)

thing is if you think about it Discord is the real winner, he was more focus on trapping Bill because he knows neither of them can die, while Bill was focusing on killing Discord because of his own ego and tunnel vision, not only that they stated that Discord can reform but since they didn't know how long it would take give Bill the win but they also stated Discord could time travel so it shouldn't matter how long it took him to reform since Discord can always travel back moments after he died to continue the fight. That's why he was more focus on trapping Bill.

Discord is draconques the living embodiment of chaos and disharmony so the reason why he fades away from being to normal for a certain period of time is because you remove the chaos you remove him.... Well unless he loses hsi magic fadeing away effect does not happen for some reason

_Gravity Falls_ was one of the smartest-written cartoons I've ever seen, and I'm so glad Bill won. The fight scene was absolute brilliance, and fun fact: There's a part of the battle music that, when played backwards, goes "Why are you listening to this part backwards? Don't tell me you're some kind of tinfoiler. You do know the song doesn't decide who wins, right?" Making fun of the people who get to listen to the songs early and try to deduce the winners from that. Also serves as a nice tribute to _Gravity Falls,_ since it had backwards vocals used as magic incantations all the time.

Bill got done in by his ego and tunnel vision yet again. Watch the portal they come out of after the puppet dimension, instead of the weirdness bubble they went into...Discord literally stopped Weirdmageddon with a snap of his fingers. Beating out Bill would have just been gravy at that point.

18:45-18:50 It's funny, because I do this thing where I occasionally make Illuminati Confirmed Joke videos from games, or pretty much anything that involves a pyramid with an eye. It was originally started as something that was intended to be taken seriously, but then it became more of a joke/skit/parody thing, but at the same time, despite that, I still take it quite seriously, so I guess it's both. Lol My playlist for it is called, _"The Truth Is Out There."_ Not very many vids for it tho, with the most recent one being of Hogwarts Legacy. Hmmm... Perhaps I should do one for this Bill guy? 🤔🤷
