0:33 Jase: there's probably a big list of Death Battles where it's Marvel VS DC Me: ooooooooooohohohooooooo if only you knew In fact, here's that very list of every Marvel VS DC Matchup Death Battle has made in order from when they came out... 1: Rogue VS Wonder Woman 2: Batman VS Spiderman 3: Batman VS Captain America 4: Deadpool VS Deathstroke 5: Iron Man VS Lex Luthor 6: Green Arrow VS Hawkeye 7: Flash VS Quicksilver 8: Hulk VS Doomsday 9: Venom VS Bane 10: Thor VS Wonder Woman 11: Batman Beyond VS Spiderman 2099 12: Black Panther VS Batman 13: Doctor Strange VS Doctor Fate 14: Nightwing VS Daredevil 15: Thanos VS Darkseid 16: Aquaman VS Namor 17: Captain Marvel VS Shazam 18: Ghost Rider VS Lobo Edit: I won't give away who wins each one but I will say that the scores currently are... Marvel: 8 wins DC: 10 wins
You sir, are a hero. And to be clear, this breaks a 7-fold winning streak that DC had going. And, in a way, Ghost Rider wrought vengeance on DC for that.
@@neoworld1518 Lol the Punisher one is writer induced stupidity. The Penance Stare works on anyone who has sinned not if they feel bad about it or not.
Before Thanos vs. Darkseid, DC and Marvel were tied on wins, actually. In DC vs. Marvel battles, they were 7-7. EDIT: Also, they clarified in the podcast that this season was full of fights the crew personally wanted to do, and the upcoming fight was a common request from the show’s director. I’m not really surprised it’s happening now.
To be fair, up until this battle, DC had won seven times in a row, starting at Raven vs Twilight. Not that I disagree with those outcomes (except for Ben 10 vs Green Lanturn), but still.
@@bee-zeesoul1018 Eh, there's a lot of fanboy bias on both sides. Usually, I evicerate them with hard logic. Once in a blue moon they prove me wrong, but that appears to be the exception rather than the rule.
@@gohan2791 So? Lobo tanked Ghpst Rider's Hellfire too, yet Lobo still lost. And Zarathos shits on Etrigan. Death Battle has a whole TEAM of researchers. Nice try.
I noticed a different trend than others: Usually in Marvel vs. DC battles, DC makes more powerful supers (Doctor Strange vs. Doctor Fate, Flash vs. Quicksilver) but Marvel makes crazy badass normals (Green Arrow vs. Hawkeye). Seeing a Marvel character win in the battle of supers was cool for me. :) One of my favorites so far.
They still underplayed the MARVEL characters. Thor moved 20 planets worth of weight with a single arm and absorbed a galaxy-destroying bomb, Hulk punched reality into pieces and survived being literally removed piece by piece at every joint, and Strange denied the Living Tribual and the Beyonders powers to remove him from existence. And Rider beat them without gaining more powers, which is another ability he has. Also, it was noted in the post-analysis that only the one true god can kill a rider.
There have been 18 Marvel VS DC Death Battles so far, including this one. If we ignore the Batman vs Black Panther fight (since Jas and Josh haven’t seen it yet), then the score stands at Marvel: 7, DC: 10. So even with there long winning streak, It isn’t a completely one-sided contest.
@@mwizachihana9551 at the RTX event they said something about a awesome Godzilla animation, that's why I think it's going to be 3D, but I could be wrong
They have done robot fights before so i don't see why 2 kaiju mechs can't duke it out the only problem i see is that mechagodzilla's weapons were designed to specifically kill Godzilla but are still powerful to do damage to the dragonzord
Dragonzord was the Zord used by Tommy, the Green Ranger of the original Power Rangers series (who would go on to assume many Ranger identities throughout the myriad series), which he summoned with his dagger weapon that also acted as a flute. They mentioned the Dragonzord briefly in the Megazord vs. Voltron battle, saying that they wouldn't use it for this particular matchup. Dragonzord's got some pretty interesting weapons such as missile launchers in his hands that fire out of each finger and thumb, as well as a massive tail that can be used as a giant drill. Despite this though, I get this feeling that Mecha-Godzilla is gonna outclass the Dragonzord
What gets me is they referenced the OG MMPR and didn't realise that the Dragonzord was from there! How do you not recognize it!?!?! Let alone that familiar and epic call song!?!?!
Technically you’re right, Robbie Reyes does not have a spirit of vengeance, but an evil satanist ghost possessing his car, but his power is still extreme, he held his own against Alejandra Jones (an actual ghost rider) and was able to possess a celestial
Ok good fight as for the next fight who do you think will win? Now just to point out the Megazord and the Tigerzord both lost to their competitors. Just throwing that out there
I'm kinda torn. Yes MechaGodzilla is strong. Especially Kiryuu since that seems to he the model they are going for. But unlike the other battles no MechaGodzilla was ever built to handle an armor. Voltron and Epyon were built to solo entire armies of mechs and space jets. I had little doubt they would win. But Kiryuu is built to fight Godzilla. It might come down to if they allow for Dragonzord Fighting mode aka the combo with the Mastadon, Sabertootht Tiger, and Triceretops. I doubt they will allow for Titanus and the Mega Dragonzord where Dragonzord combines with the Megazord and rides Titanus.
@NiTe SHADE, here's a fun fact about Mecha-G: Mecha-G is strong enough to take on and defeat the O.G. Godzilla himself. and Godzilla lifted and threw his arch-rival Kaizer Gidorah, who weighs 100.000 tons. Mecha-G did the same to HIS arch-rival, who weighs even more. also, should his head be turned 180 degrees, he can continue fighting.
It's a wonder why ghost rider hasn't gone after carnage yet. Cause he can obliterate his soul with the penance stir. Considering if it would work considering if symbiotes have souls, and if it would still work even if he enjoys murdering people. He can probably take down lucy too from elfen lied. If it works cause she enjoys murdering people I guess. Or something. And among other people he can defeat cause of their innumerable amount of sins.
Dragon one punch man is literally a character made for fun. He would decimate Lobo, but he would just come back over and over again. Never the less the outcome would be the same.
@@Ryuga-2015 'One punch man is made for fun' so he can't lose is not even an argument. Lobo has shown more far more insane strength, speed and intelligence feats than Saitama or any opponent he ever faced. Lobo might lose first 10 or 100 rounds. The battle might go on for years but eventually Lobo will win. Not even talking about Ghost Rider here who could just eat Saitama's soul and finish the fight in seconds.
@@Ryuga-2015 Lobo was one of the first absurd characters made for fun and parodies that DC made. Nowadays he's still one of the most powerful of the whole absurd characters ever made. Decades ago he showed more than Saitama have ever made, so Saitama wouldn't be a real threat for Lobo.
The problem is that Lobo Soul is crazy powerful too! Hence why they could not stop him in Heaven and Hell. It was his soul they could not keep in check! So if Ghost Rider Ate his Soul. Then Ghost Rider would most likely explode from Lobos Chaos from the inside!
When it comes to fights between parody and a serious conception character it usually goes to the parody for the meta aspect of four wall breaks but this was an interesting fight not as BS as green lantern vs ben 10
LunaLupus Wasn’t BS, get your information from someone who actually knows both character’s potential (The Ink Tank lacks proper information on Green Lantern).
@@DemonicAppetite1120 The only version of of Green Lantern that could win is precrisis. Feats that are universal or higher for herald tier DC heroes are considered outliers post-crisis. GL and most of the JL are multi Solar System level at best. Alien X is Universe+ level in strength and durability, and the power gap is so wide that GL's speed advantage is a nonfactor.
@@ShimmerScarlet Post-Crisis Hal also has universal feats and given Hal's speed, he could just oneshot Ben before the Omnitrix reacts. Of course, Death Battle does look at who would win the majority of the time out of say 100 or 1 million scenarios, so there are scenarios where Ben wins, it's just Hal wins more.
@@DemonicAppetite1120 The problem is that even with comics, vs debates must look for consistency. For every universal feat for GL and every character in his same ballpark of strength, there are 30 solar system level feats. In other words, stronger characters than GL like Superman and Martian Manhunter, both get exhausted or use extreme effort for SS level feats. It is far more consistent for them to be Solar System tier. And while Alien X Has _less_ feats, all his feats and accompanying statements were consistently universe+ level. Not to mention his hax are pretty hard to work around, too. And if you wanted to get hypothetical, Man of Action have confirmed there are at least two more unseen aliens in the omnitrix that are stronger than the chronosapiens, so there is potentially stronger than universal aliens at his disposal. But that is just in theory.
Hugh Jara GL’s multiple universal feats aren’t outliers and Superman as well also has universal feats (how is MM stronger than GL), inconsistency for Hal’s feats depend on his willpower at the time and at his max, he’s universal or more. Also DC universal feats > Ben 10 universal feats since the DC universe is larger than the Ben 10 universe (if it’s not stated to be larger or smaller, then it’s the same size). As for hax, GL either counters or also has the same as Ben, like erasure (never proven that Alien X has it though), energy absorption, time manipulation, warping reality, etc. For the last paragraph, that’s a never proven statement and even if it’s true, while we know Ben has them, but does Ben know he has them and can Ben actually use them given how Alien X wasn’t an immediately available alien.
There five ghost riders Carter Slade aka the phantom/ghost rider who was in the white suit Johnny Danny Some girl that was the rider Robbie my second favourite ghost rider first being Danny ketch Punisher who's cosmic Ghost rider Spider-Man who was ghost spider witch is stupid and Spidey my favorite superhero too That's all the Ghosts riders if you dont count vegengece
Times marvel characters have won to my memory. Rogue vs wonder woman, Thor vs raiden, deadpool vs deathstroke, I think ultron vs sigma but not sure, Spiderman vs Batman, black panther vs Batman, iron man vs lex Luther, spawn vs kratos, black widow vs widow maker, Hawkeye vs green arrow. Times dc has won. Batman beyond vs Spiderman 2099, superman vs goku 1&2, wonder woman vs Thor, green lantern vs Ben 10, the flash vs quicksilver, darkside vs thanos, doomsday vs hulk, dr fate vs Dr strange, Batman vs captain America, so I believe marvel has won 10 and dc has won 10 but if it's just marvel vs dc fights it's 6 for marvel and 7 for dc, granted the rogue vs wonder woman fight us wrong so more like 5 to 7 and they have gone on record to say Thor vs raiden is the most one sided death battle ever so that's a free win for marvel
There is a way to revert back Ghost rider into human form and that is through time manipulation... Ghost rider will revert back to human form during the day and if he faces an opponent that can turn back the time to day they can easily beat Ghost rider.
Except we've seen Ghost Rider remain in that state even during the day in the primary source, like during the World War Hulk storyline, when he took down that skyscraper, obliterated a mountain, and when he battled Dr. Strange. Plus I don't think it's ever been explicitly stated that that is even a thing at all. Sure back in the early days he would automatically transform between the two states during day and night respectively, but it has been contradicted ever since Johnny got more control over the form. And even if it was a factor against him, Ghost Rider could still catch, obliterate, and devour Lobo at any given time once Johnny kicked back and let Zarathos come out to play, which was only inevitable given how absurd Lobo is. And without his bike, which can easily be destroyed by Ghost Rider, he can never escape.
Dc sucks when they create characters they just throw things in there that give them automatic wins it’s unfair marvel on the other hand actually makes sense and is more realistic
This battle should have ended in ghost rider winning but then having one of the Lobo clones appear out of nowhere to make a one liner and to put a question mark on that KO Cuz that's a thing Lobo is a brute no doubt about it but unless he promises not to run away he will if he thinks he's not going to win
