The sheer shock on her face when the man dies is hilarious as if she thought that he would be fine, but he just instantly dies with no frames in between. This is one of the greats.

I like how she died because they can't speak in this short, so then when she puts up 5 she meant 50 cents when she was holding out her fingers, death just is like "high five sweet"
@@shihabrehan7054 Not necessarily. She didn't know the man would die, nor did she know he was so dire as to die before offering up at least ten cents. Even then, she's only a child. It shows a good deal of negligence, but it's not like she intended it or didn't care. She was startled when the dude just straight up bit the dust. As for Death, if you consider it under the jurisdiction of most commercial institutions, he broke it, so he bought it. He legitimately owes her for the damages, and Death accidentally killed her because he straight up didn't understand what she was talking about.
Nah, more like a six year old. Five year olds can't really do good math. I would think she was like 9 because that's really when you learn your big multiplication tables, but this kid is small enough to be four!

I actually really like this design for Death. He straddles the line between cute and creepy perfectly, he’s easily recognizable as what he’s supposed to be while also being a distinct take on the usual motif, and his movements and proportions are just perfect.
I love the adorable art style. The fact that you can easily tell what all the characters are feeling just from their expressions and hand gestures despite the fact that all the characters don't speak, truly means that this was made by an incredibly talented animator. Absolutely stunning work.
I don't know if this pun was intended or not but since the girl died or smth trying to make the reaper pay for spilled lemonade, it is really 'Death by lemonade'.

Really funny visual gag how at 0:49 the shape makes it look like death is looming over her (it kinda looks like a silhouette until you notice the skull) and then you realize he's actually facing the opposite direction, I wonder if the hood is shaped like that specifically to make the gag work
