The Fiend Folio Mod for The Binding of Isaac Repentance recently got a new content patch! This video showcases the awesome new one-time use active item "TError's Crazy Slots", coded by Guwahavel, which basically works like Death Certificate... but with a "spin"!

I think it might be a good idea to try to go for death certificate, since it allows you to choose items with id greater than 999 (in case you have many mod items), and it also gives you some free pickups. Oh, and also in case you mess up with timings a bit, bot fly isn’t that bad! Same goes for I am error room teleportation, because that’s what you will get if you will miss bot fly’s id as well.

It would be cool if it synerged with a car battery in a way that it would give you 6 number to choose instead of 3 so you can get 2 items but the 3 last numbers would be even faster than first three so you would need to have really good timing although it would basically give you invinite items if you would constantly choose the error's slot so i don't know if it is a good idea

It could simply cancel out the 2nd slot if you go for the error slot on the first one If the numbers are really fast on the 2nd slot i doubt people will be able to constantly get it right, as it would be really fast

there was such a missed opportunity with the Book Of Virtues imagine if it prevented the slots from being used but only gave you item wisps instead of actual items (with a charge count being added to make it not broken)

The "duplicate" fun fact isn't actually completely useless, but it is hardly a solution. If you accidentally input 9-- or 92- when you didn't mean to, you can just get the crazy slots again if you time it right for a second chance. Still though, very niche and requires you make an error

The only problem with this item is that if you have enough mods, any item that happens to be pushed past ID 1000 is inaccessable. Imagine if it would actually extend the slot to 4 numbers to compensate...

Planetarium items are all together Mercurius - Voodoo Head from 590-599 Halo of Flies through to Boom! are all good Aries - Pisces are 300-309, you skip Taurus (299) and Libra is the only potential pitfall (and tbf it's usually good) Soy Milk - Safety Pin has Soy, Godhead, Mind, Soul, Dead Onion

A synergy idea: sacred orb If you spin an item that’s Quality 0 or 1(or invalid) the item spawned will be the closest Q3 or 4 in ID Quality 2 will have this occur 33% of the time.

Got this today and tried to get Death Certificate, because i wanted to see a room full of FF's items with their descriptions. Messed by 2 or 3 on the last number... and got knife piece #1. On basement 2.

a good idea is to try to go for an item that has an id right next to another very good item, unfortunately out of quality 4 items, only epic fetus and polyphemus are next to eachother, still this increases your chance for a good item (epic fetus is 168 and polyphemus is 169)

Unfortunately this new item is kinda useless with extra mods on top of this, due to the 3 digit limit, i wish that this item could update itself with a fourth slot that could only go up to 1 (maybe 2 if you have 2000 items obtainable)

Can you have slot active and pick up another active item, then go into another room select the slot numbers, get your item and then come back? Would that save the crazy slot?

it might seem weak but do remember that death certificate is unlocked when youve done almost EVERYTHING, this is unlocked at the very beginning, and also its not too hard to get the item you want with it now is death certificate better? definitely, but just because its a worse death certificate doesnt mean its not q4
