It seems like Stefan lowkey really likes Fantano alot for loving his music and supporting them as a band so much but he's never mentioned him at all, hes just had those random moments of showing his appreciation
1:52 No Hands/Zach Solo 3:06 Come up and Get Me 7:15 Get Got 7:31 stefan gets his coat off 10:03 Takyon 12:53 Guillotine 16:33 No Love 21:34 The Fever 24:40 I've Seen footage 27:59 Lock Your Doors 31:46 stefan leaves, andy solo
LOL Ride peaces out so quick after finishing the set. *finishes Lock your doors* *throws microphone* *grabs jacket and runs off* never to be seen again until the next show.....a true mystic
so apparently they did this because they couldn't perform together due to contract issues from their fallout with epic. so they used skype as a loophole around that clause
@@vernie_in_hell No, this is conjecture based upon the timeline of events. Zach Hill did not play with the other members during their 2013 tour in Canada either. There is live footage of just Andy and Stefan on stage playing to the recording.
Honestly, my favorite part of the show is the tune in the beginning. Just shows again, how much of a talent Flatlander is at creating sick, otherworldly beats. I just hope that he someday starts a solo project or makes more Death Grips Instrumentals because this is fucking dope
well the heavy breathing is definitely him, they’re well into the set and it makes sense that he would be panting and that the camera would pick it up. the “FUCK” could be a sample but it sounds like it’s coming from the drum audio, which makes me think it’s him.
The stage wasnt big enough for zach so they put a camera on zachs head and projected it on the fucking wall, brilliant improvising death grips. (not sarcasm 11/10)
can't see the reply but that's definitely happening here and it kind of fades out after many songs. kind of interesting really but yeah. still worse for it
Verpine Blaster there was this one show in 2012 when a guy hugged him and he just calmly asked him to leave while zach was evaporating from these drum licks
Man, when Lock Your Doors comes on it just brings in this massive presence with it. That song is really really heavy in it's atmosphere. I'd love to see it live.
One of my fave DG shows ever this, even though is a short gig. Zach poppin, Ride on fire and the live sampling Andy is doing throughout sounds absolutely fucking mental... A flight of stairs falling down a flight of stairs. Best band in the world imo, each member is truly a musical visionary
32:21 Legend has it, if you listen reaaaaalllll closely to the PA system, you can still hear Ride's "-OOOOOw -OOOOOw -OOOOOw -OOOOOw" echoing through the speakers
Gonna be honest, this show definitely shows Death Grips commitment to this show they are putting on and makes me love them even more. A character like the one MC Ride is playing wouldn't hang around and say thanks so as soon as he says the last thing he is required to say he leaves and in a hurry. Flatlander finishes off and ends with nothing but static and the echo of MC Ride. They put on the best set from anyone I've seen this year.
For any of you guys trying to find Fantano, there's a really clear shot of him from 25:17 - 25:54. He has a camera around his neck a white T-shirt on, and he's at the bottom left corner.
What are you talking about? I've seen Death Grips 3 times live and Andy is always putting in extra work and samples. It's just that with this set, Zach's drums were patched through Andy's live set on Ableton so he was able to modulate it and create sounds on the fly is all.
@@ThePersonNetwork I haven't actually seen them in person but I've seen almost every clip of them on youtube, I think his sampling is extra clear in this clip because of the recording and it's probably harder to hear in the other clips because they're mostly bootleg, my bad. Glad to hear he's always doing that.
This is really one of the greatest live shows of all time. The skype drums are genius, the energy is crazy and evolves through out the show, the audience interaction is at its peak. plus the pills and the significance those physical objects had even before the show. I love this.
