Thanks Steve, I did not know that about Lillith. I don't get the hate for COF. Damnation is one of my least favorite COF albums, but I'll have to go back and revisit it now that I've been schooled. I also don't get the love for OG pressings. It used to be bragging rights that proved you were there back in the day, that you were an OG fan of the band and not some bandwagon jumping Poser. Now all I see are idiots paying way too much for an inferior copy and bragging about it. I'll take the reissue any day. Nice additions to your collection.
Thank you, totally agree, It cool to have the OG copy but I will never what people ask for when selling it. I lost most of my stuff a while back and buying the reissues is the smart way to go. Plus old OG is so thin. I'm afraid to play my OGs for fear of damaging them some times. It's cool to watch videos of people that have them but I will stick to what I afford. I read about Lilith in some books that was deemed unfit for the Holy Bible. I would have to look exactly what book it was but I found it interesting.
Wehrmacht AND Whiplash!!! That's almost insane :D I bought that Living Sacrifice on OG CD a couple of years ago. It was actually kind of expensive. REs or OGs... yeah, doesn't really matter to me either.
Hell yea, that Living Sacrifice was a shock when i found it.. one you don't see a lot in the wild now days. OGs are cool but the wax is so thin back in the day i am afraid to play them haha. OG CDs make me more excited when i find them but i don't have to have og, the music is what i am after.
I haven't ever come across any Summon other than the last album they released they've been on my radar for a long time. Great t-shirt! I have all the CC albums but as for the next one I'm in two minds about bothering to get it but to tell you the truth I'm not overly bothered with any new stuff as my wishlist will always grow. I personally like all CoF but they are pretty much the only gothic band I have time for, Damnation and a Day was the first I heard/picked up. I love Cattle Decapitation the music is mind blowing how good they are but the clean singing bits turn my stomach. Great score with Human Jerky one I wouldn't mind coming across but I might get the reissue at some point. I know I said I wouldn't but expect a message from me in a few minutes 😂 good to see you mate I'm always here till the end! 🍻🤘🏻
Hell yea, COF early stuff is lyrical mastery, and the music takes me to 80s horror movie music, I absolutely adore their music. I will pick you up a Summon album, just seen a copy of this very album the other day. I will check my emails Simon. Just woke up from a long night of blasting these gems haha😅😅
Hahaha!! Thanks Anthony, been MIA and have missed a load of videos, plan to sit down and watch some videos to day and you are definitely on the top of my list.
Great to see you back Steve. I need to check out that Whiplash album. Cannibal's Evisceration Plague is excellent, that intro riff in the title track is such a hook. Cradle of Filth's Dusk and her Embrace is killer, Dani is an amazing vocalist who doesn't get enough recognition and his lyric writing is excellent. Cheers mate
Absolutely brilliant! As usual, there's familiar material, as well as things to discover. The first album has already convinced me. Summon, I've never heard of them, but this is serious stuff, and the singer caught my attention straight away. Awesome! Wehrmacht (which is in fact the name of the regular German army during WW2) rocks like a rocket. It's funny to have them in a video with Overkill, because the chorus of United Shoebrothers always reminds me of Rotten to the Core. That said, W.F.O. is a good album from an excellent band. I'm not surprised to hear that you'd put Power and Pain at the top of the list of Thrash albums. This Whiplash album can be considered perfect. And as for Evisceration Plague, it's simple: can you really buy a bad Cannibal Corpse album? No! I think my favorite track on this one is A Cauldron of Hate. Thanks Steve, see you! 😎🤘
Thank you! Wehrmacht just absolutely slays, I knew the name had something to do with the German WW2 military but I couldn't exactly remember on the spot during the video 😂, that album rips. Summon is insanity, I bought several of their albums but couldn't I found the debut. Hidden treasure indeed. W.F.O took me a second to get into back in the day but it smashes. (You got Rotten to the Core stuck in my head now haha) thanks for watching as always!!
Nice pick ups buddy, I haven’t heard most of those albums but I have hear Terrasite. That’s my first Cattle Decapitation album. It’s really excellent. It’s a pretty accessible album, I would even consider it a gateway album.
Can't go wrong with Summon! What a way to wind down after spending hours of your time working to make the "man" richer. Killer Sepultura shirt Steve! Think I'm gonna snag a vinyl of that Wehrmacht at some point, that album art is just too amusing.... my little CD copy doesn't do it justice, haha.
@@stevesekora details (melodic heavy) Calliophis Liquid Darkness (brutal fast) Crypts of Despair All Light Swallowed, Snorlax The Necrotrophic Abyss and II (solid deathmetal) Disembowel Act of Invocation, Sepulcre Cursed Ways of Sheol, Feannag Throne
Excellent stuff! That Summon album is incredible, I wish I was more aware of the underground when they were active because they were an hour away from me. IMO the first Living Sacrifice is all you need, they went from an incredible thrash band to a not so great death metal band to metalcore. I don't care about OGs either. If I have one it means I was there at the beginning which is cool, but I would never go out and pay a bunch of money to acquire it later. Destructor is great fun, Athenar from Midnight was in the band for a stint in the 2000s. Great video, Steve!
Thanks Scott! yea actually I like 3 Living Sacrifice albums, Reborn and The Hammering Process. Then after that I lost interest. Summon rules, I have a couple of Michigan bands and this and Lucifer's Hammer are me favs from that scene. Nocturnal Fear is another that I believe is from that area. Killer stuff.
Killer! That Summon album has been on rotation in my car all month. Drawn and Quartered are a cool band. Local here. Their ex-members were involved, or are still involved in other killer bands like Serpens Aeon, Infester, Blood Ritual, Abazagorath, etc. Their current drummer, Simon, was always awesome to me everytime I met him. I honestly haven't seen them since he joined the band, though. That dude can bomb blast like a mofo. Sinister is one of my 2 favorite death metal bands, so it's always great to see them added to someone's collection. Cradle of Filth is great. Whiplash - Power and Pain is essential. One of my favorite thrash records. Badass update, Steve!
Thanks man, that Summon absolutely rips, I been spinning it along with that Whiplash... HOLY shit that is gotta be one of the best thrash metal album of all time in my book. Sinister rules, I think I'm up to 5 or 6 of their albums and all of them rip. Drawn and Quartered is beast! Thank for watching bro!
@@FumesofHatredLucifers Hammer is one of the best along with Summon and Masochist. Can not believe that people don't talk about them all. I show more of my collection of these bands soon.

Hi Steve, great to see you back man! I haven't been commenting on videos over the last few days, but I thought I would for you. Some really cool pickups like Cannibal Corpse, Drawn and Quartered, Overkill, and cool Sepultura t-shirt! Summon sound a bit like what I've been getting into recently, Black Metal with a Thrash Metal sound. I was listening to some Niefelheim and Absu earlier! Nice one Steve 😊🤘
Thank you Josh, I have been MIA for the last couple of weeks and now trying to catch up on the VC videos. That Summon is beast, Niefelheim is one of my favs bro. Absu is great Texas BM. Thanks for watching.
@@stevesekora You're welcome mate, yeah I haven't seen you about either recently. Ah nice that's cool, I've been in and out of watching videos, been too busy! Yeah I thought the Summon sounded pretty good, really enjoyed the Nieflheim a lot!! Absu I thought were pretty good too, not the best I've heard but still pretty solid. You're welcome mate 😊🤘
