Thing with L is it feels like he does not even use the bathroom without 20 moves thought out. I just love the writing since you do not really get it to many places. I get why that is, just to write constant mind games must be tiring as fuck.

Creating a skin is actually easy. There are multiple custom web editors for skin creation and even if you didn't use them, it's still not that hard to download a skin template and edit it in a drawing program. The actual hard part of making a skin is pixel art, which doesn't require minecraft knowledge.

That would have been the optimal play by light if he did that as soon as it was possible. If he did that, L would have to come up with an explanation why Light immediately folded.

It would never happen because Light's fatal character flaw is his pride and ego, which would never allow him to say something like that.

The fact he knew what a cobblestone generator was to begin with is suspicious enough for me. Definitely not something someone who has never played Minecraft would know about or especially how to make without prior knowledge/research. Not to mention, how would he have gotten a bucket and lava that early into the game? Seems very odd to me.

Why would he even need a cobblestone generator on a regular world? There's an infinite amount of the stuff like 4 blocks below his feet. It's all very suspicious

That's kinda the whole point of the L saga, really. Both of them are geniuses at mind games but L is both much more experienced and has much better physical resources whereas Light needs to abuse magical Shinigami bullshit in order to stay ahead.

In theory that should be balanced by L police recourses, contacts and network. By since Light have a police dad that just so happen to be one the closest to L... Light has way more advantages.

Light starts as a literal teenager? L has millions of resources at his back. He snapped his fingers and brought the FBI, controls global intelligence agencies, built a skyscraper in the middle of Tokyo in months. In fact, L was so advantaged he was the one moving the plot forward, Light could barely do anything to get close to L, until Misa enters the story and then get arrested. This argument that Light had an advantage is shallow and dumb.
