The death of the superman is such a great story and the artwork is freaking fantastic and seeing the creators actually put effort into this story during that time was freaking fantastic also a bonus this story did give us superboy Conner Kent in the reign of superman story which was technically the fallout of this story but that's a topic for another day but my point is this I will always maintained the death of superman is the right way to kill off a character but also have actual stakes for are hero who did everything in his power to save the day and succeeded but at a cost yes but he at least died as a hero which I approved at least in my opinion.
I was still skittish about getting back into DC after the Crisis changes. Batman was straight. Flash was my boy (until Wiernigo's art). However, Superman, although no longer a boring procedural, was rather generic following Byrne. The Death, Funeral for a Friend, and especially Reign of the Superman got me back full swing into DC. Zero Hour sealed my fate. I was back for good, baby. EDIT: I notice you are nearing 1K subs. Inevitable.
Oh shit you're right I'm glad they didn't kill Lois Hey Ramsey can you tell us what you think about Guy Gardner? I don't think you said enough about it. When you said they were going to form Captain Planet, I snarfed my coffee
Yes, pre-crisis and post-crisis Superman are considered to be the same person. Despite that, though, a large amount of his backstory was changed following Crisis.
@@CaptainAway Then How come that the pre-crisis and post-crisis wonder Woman are not the same with a different Hypolita and a different Paradise Island that's now called Themischera and different power? Do you know if Post Crisis Wonder Woman has the Golden age Hippolyta as a mom because the earth 1 Hyppolita is blonde and the earth 2 Hyppolita is a brunette (pre-crisis)?
