I read her dad passed away during the trial and she only missed a day! That must have been when she was sitting at the desk and looked like she was crying, for a few days. She's amazing!

I agree. What are we going to do going forward about the religious fanatics who mess with others minds? Policies that are considered 'religious' are protected, but I think it needs to change when people can interpret scripture any way they want. It's criminal. Organized religion is culty.

I second your sentiment about Kay Woodcock getting the police action motivated at the outset. Despite Lori Vallow Daybell's skill at telling lies, her easy demeanor whilst knowing she's just slaughtered two of her own children, the detectives quickly saw through her, on their own gut feeling, and got into action with a serious missing children case. Just to add, there's another heroine: Aunt Vicky, she got onto the Rexburg police about Tammy, the rushed funeral with no autopsy and her gut feeling that something just wasn't right with Choad's behaviour. She was like a dog with a bone and she phoned and phoned and phoned again until the investigators got into gear. As Kay said: "See y'all in Arizona". I'm calling it the Maricopa Witch Trial.

What Lori and Chad were doing is not "Mormon Stuff". Yes they (LDS) believe families will be reunited after death. They are taught to listen to "The Holy Spirit" usually through prayer but none of these death percentages, zombies, being married to one another in multiple lives are teaching from the main steam LDS. These messed-up (me being polite) teachings have come about via the Near Death Experience and the Prepper (preparing for the end of the world and prepared to do anything to make it come sooner if they can) movement. It makes big money in book sales, conventions and all the food storage and tent sales they generate. Not to mention the firearms purchases these groups seem to be so proud of too. Chad got first hand knowledge on how much Julie Rowe was raking in with her books. He saw the easy money to be made, all he had to do was say the books he had written before were actually not fictitious after all, say that he'd seen his Grandad when he went cliff diving, even though he didn't bother to tell his family members this at the time. Once the money from his books and the appearances he started getting booked for came in, he liked it. He liked the attention. He liked that women, who wouldn't have given him the time of day before, now wanted to spend time him. There were possibly three before he met Lori. To keep them coming to him and him alone, he had to give them something they were not getting from their regular church meetings. Their church was not saying the end is coming next year or anytime soon. They wanted more excitement, a goal in sight, for all the years they felt they had been following all those rules and regulations they get from LDS church. He gave them a quicker end of the world and made them feel excited and special because they WILL be helping out when The Big Guy comes back. Or so they thought.

I have experienced alot of strange stuff in my life, for example, if somebody dies and this person was an awful person, suddenly everyone forgets its and say ohh what a nice person that's so sad. In tragedies like this one, just cause they are in the victim family, doesnt automatically make them Angel's. I have not gotten good vibes from Gwilliam from the beginning, with what he says. So I disagree, I am pretty sure he meant what he said. But everyone has their own opinion which is fine😊😉

I am sure he will be on death row for decades. But Chad considered himself a "prophet" and he will think he is like jesus who was betrayed by his people...Chad will never accept what he did nor blame himself. So he will be comfortable in prison while he waits his turn.

He will die of old age by the time all the appeals go through. It takes years.

In all fairness, Unless it's you / me going through it, we will never know. For some death is the worst, but for others, life in prison is the worst. And don't forget, Even if you get life in prison, it doesn't mean someone on the inside won't give you death.

@@SHAWNEESKYWALKER DP also means he will be in solitary 23hrs a day. I'm happy that he will not have access to other inmates who could fall for his BS. Of course he'll have access to his children to keep them hooked but not everyday. I also read he and Lori will be able to write to each other but to be honest, I think that won't last very long.

Yes he can. That was grandpa Larry Woodcock and he's a great guy and has suffered the most. He and his wife are the ones that got the investigation started in the first place.
