Death Row 2 Skid Row Los Angeles Homeless Encampments Downtown LA, walk with me thru the bad parts of skid row and see the zombie style people.
Dangerous by day its worse at night as I found out walking on the east side of skid row. I did not have a camera and i was still assaulted for being on the wrong street where drug deals are happening at night. We have to have hope that one day new leadership can fix the problems of skid row not just part time workers sweeping up trash to look like something is happening.
Rats are everywhere and come out of the drains and are spreading disease here to include bubonic plague. The Homeless Problem in America is now in most metropolitan areas and look no further than Hollywood, Burbank, Sun Valley Downtown and now expanding east and west. Sacramento, San Francisco all Major Cities in California are inflicted with this disease.

I live in an old hillbilly town everybody knows everybody & their business . These videos are absolutely amazing to see people live like this kind of like living off the land but instead you are living off the streets. I guess that the only way you can have it when you live in the city .

All of our Cities are overpopulated with desperate homeless people and they're now migrating into rural areas. Imagine 15% of America homeless. Imagine 20% homeless. At 25% homeless the nation teeters on the abyss and our Cities are now full feudal, either rich or slums or tents on the street. Our Cities look third world bad.

Yes it’s getting apocalyptic in some areas. Mission creep is happening everywhere! Really sad and it could have been prevented but politicians get in the way.

Yes many of them are ready to take pride in their "home" and are willing to work to organize and keep it clean. This is were we have to start...from the ground up and help them to organize. True many of them are not able to clean up and follow societal "rules" as we know them. But many of these people want to improve their situation and are ready to start here where they are now.

Some people are hired to do street sweeping but the next morning the trash is back again so it’s job security.

It's like that because of the laws in California. A lot of these individuals suffer from drug addiction and mental health problems. Tents are only allow from 9:00 pm to 6:00 am or 7:00 am Law enforcement does not enforce the laws. There's no place for them to go, so I guess it is ok. It's an open market for all kinds of drugs. I don't understand why L.A. allows tents in Skid Row. My city does not allow them. Since the city allows people to live in skid row they should at least clean daily not only once a week.

It’s spreading to more areas now so skid row is about the same but now Los Angeles has to deal with more homeless.

A lot of these individuals come from broken families not from loving families. Many of them chose drugs. They are addicted. Rehabilitation should be mandatory and not a choice. Jail will help a lot. Ask past drug users and they will tell you that being in jail helped them quit. It's a very complicated issue.

@@Monique-bl3uoUnfortunate how he worded it, but he is right. Fentanyl use keeps climbing, and now that Xylazine is being mixed into fentanyl in more states, it will only get worse. Xylazine is a large animal tranquilizer being mixed in to drugs, first in Puerto Rico, then in the Kensington area of Philly where it has killed many. Xylazine ("Tranq") causes a "zombie effect" and lowers respiration. In excess it causes coma and death. It also causes large, deep open wounds that if not treated lead to infection, sepsis, gangrene and death.
