Modern DnT player here. This arquetype is so rewarding that people start avoiding you, specially when you have the habit of adding small changes from time to time to keep your local community in the dark
legacy is kinda in a weird place rn, DnT is incredibly popular in paper and the pilots tend to be specialists of the archetype. this goes for most decks in legacy but even more so for dnt , you are required to have alot of knowledge of the format to make your cards as effective as possible.
I can't wait for you to run out of other decks and start discussing CEDH decks and archetypes. I really think your style and format would be interesting to see applied to something like jeska/ishai or winota staxx
I'm not sure saying D&T fairs worse the longer the game goes is entirely accurate with yorion in the picture. Yorion + vial + karakas is nearly impossible to grind against. Not to mention recruiter is a catchup mechanic in the sense it gets more recruiters or flickerwhisps for more recruiters (even without yonrion).
Yeah in the past it Feeled offen like u Lose if u have no pressure and ur opponent floods out. But in Version with yorion yorion can be a crazies late game card. If he its only 1 recruiter he can get whisp and Grind rly well. Also he makes a recuriter dangerous on Board and Single target removel is very bad against Rekruter. Against most decks u usally win if u get to 5+ mana
The video was weird, on one hand, the deck list at beginning has a lot of cards you don't cover, I mean why they're in the deck, but throughout the video, you do cover a lot of other cards that aren't in the list. I know those cards go in the deck, I guess I just don't understand why the initial deck list doesn't have them.
The lists I show in these videos are examples that I think represent the archetype. I want these guides to be comprehensive so I try to mention cards that are regularly played regardless of whether they appear in the specific decklist shown.
Most lists don’t run peacekeeper, especially non-yorion lists Although you’re right in that DnT often has had one or two RL cards somewhere in its list throughout the ages, especially multi-colour variants obviously But it’s definitely possible and viable to have a RL-less list
