Recommend saying legacy should be a proxy friendly format to keep it alive and grow its player base. Most decks with a 10 card proxy limit become cheaper then modern decks.
That doesn't affect mtgo tho and the deck is still (albeit by a magnitude less) prohibitively expensive. That being said, an anti-proxy paper legacy player is a player that wants legacy to die. Even aside from your tabernacles and mox diamonds, there are only so many dual lands and every other deck in the format is going to play them.
a couple notes from a boomer lands player: watch for glacial chasm and how it can be copied by stage, and for big red jukes in the SB like the 6mv Chandra that can't be countered. additionally, ancient tomb, urborg and yavimaya all speed up stage+depths and chalice of the void (another great SB card against the field as lands plays few impactful one drops against storm and control). also gamble and entomb are out of the deck for now but not unheard of, likewise, saga might just tutor up an expedition map, currency converter or the thopter/servo maker
@@NathanLipetz Ah yes, but as we know the data can lie mainly on representation in the format. Many more lands players than 8 mulch! Additionally one day I'll record that show and tell league, haha. Just need to find the time...
that thing got banned for repeated Wasteland abuse and able to kill off many x/1 creatures one of the worst offenders is Canadian Threshold (aka Temur Delver) being able to bonk you with a 1 mana threat while defending with Force of Will and blowing up lands all at once
