Death & Taxes, and a Family Update 

Reylah is dance must be so adorable! I agree about adulting. Adulting sucks, but widowed adulting REALLY sucks! With school forms, my husband, my mother and my best friend all died within a short time. My mom and my best friend were always our contact people for our kids' schools so I had to remove all three. The school secretaries didn't know what to say. I started crying. It was such a horrible day.

I lost my dad to cancer when I was six years old. I'm now 58 years old and have a alot of what if's. I wonder if he is proud of me, all the big moments in my life he wasn't there. I always wonder what life could of been with him and yet I can't imagine what he felt like knowing he was leaving his wife and 3 children to figure life without him. I wish I would've been in counseling. We didn't talk about him or if we cried we hid. Times have changed.

Emotional grief roller coaster. Up and down and all around! Yikes, taxes. When my husband died, I was able to use our regular tax attorney that first year.. Then she passed away so the second year I struggled with it. You're going to get through this. I promise! I'm lighting my candle for you and your sweet kids! Love Hugs and Prayers! ❤

You can always be a kid at heart! We learn to be cynical but it’s possible to see the world through a child’s eyes since you have 2! Taxes suck but I remind myself there are others living on the street.

I go to a local bank that has a tax preparing department. I used to do my own taxes but once I started taking my taxes to this bank, I realized I was missing out on deductions I could have taken.

I know you said you’re not religious but as far as you saying where can you sign up to be a kid I want to be a reminder that the Lord God does say to enter the kingdom of heaven like a child. That’s about all I can think about as far as where you can sign up. I always think of Saint Thérèse who acted very blissfully like a child and trusted our heavenly father. In my loss of my husband unexpectedly I usually am field of anxiety on how I’m going to make it through this life without him in every way. Then I remember Saint Thérèse and I throw my hands up and I just say like a little kid whatever happens happens Lord I trust you. I wanna act like I am in the bliss. Thank you so much for sharing I like the candle idea. It was very comforting thank you very much. I’m glad you are having a better week. Grief certainly is a roller coaster ride isn’t it? I took accounting in a tech school way back when….i loved it but when I came to tax time I just couldn’t wrap my head around it so I quit lol it was very complicated for me.

Our taxes are straightforward, but my husband’s employer switched to a new HR company last year. So….they didn’t take out enough for taxes, and we had to pay the first time ever this year, too

I know all about death and taxes.....as both my parents died 2.5 months apart and I was the youngest and the executor of their estate. The gov't in Canada anyways will make sure that they get it right down to the last 1 cent that they owe. Thank goodness my Dad was very organized, who knew that he was like that? They owed nothing thank goodness as it was a major stress. But God or whoever decided his roof decided it needed to leak into his bedroom and there needed to be insulation put in and then there was a water leak in the yard and then in the crawlspace yadda yadda yadda. Thank goodness for my older sister who has lots of $$$ was able to pay for these things but then again they came out of his estate and had to be paid back. It all sucks. I remember working full time and going to my dads to sell his stuff off and then watering the yard and organizing yard sales etc. So much work.....I was working on adrenaline. Oh ya, painting his house inside, and oh I even had a old camper on stilts in the back yard that needed to be gone so I went on fb and some guy took it for free and got his 4x 4 and took that out. SoooOOOoooo much work. I'm surprized I'm not dead right now from all of that work. But I did end up with cancer......melanoma. Uhhhhh lets not talk about that but by September I should be done with immunotherapy and can go back to work! :) I don't miss work at all though right now lol

Wow...6th grade! That's right about first girlfriend / boyfriend age. First kiss, etc. The Joy's of puberty, lol. Taxes...never fun but definitely an additional weight in a death situation. Hey, maybe doing your own taxes could qualify as a write off. lol?

I will never understand people that call you and others grieving the loss of a spouse "tragedy pimps". So people that haven't lost a loved one...they can have a RU-vid channel...but people grieving it's an issue??? Maybe they are the tragedy pimps making a living or even worse yet it's just a hobby for them to put down youtubers who have experience extreme loss.. and I have to say this too. Sarah channel by default and by LAW is now yours to do with as you please. These people act like you and others who have lost loved ones have no right to be here. And this really pisses me off. You are so loved Josh and I hope these jerks never win. Don't let them chase you away. My brother in law just passed away suddenly, and we are hurting so bad. I've stayed with his wife in his spot on the bed so it's not empty for her. I smell him in the pillow. And to think of people giving you and Kyle and anyone else ever a hard time angers me. Most of us are here to love and support you. And for what it's worth I just wanted to tell you this....ps this is unrelated to your video...I was just commenting on your latest..wasn't sure where to leave it...its so nice to have a safe place to go when we experience loss. Anyway what I wanted to say is I'm glad you and your Beautiful family are doing well ❤ taxes suck.. me & hubby did make enough to pay taxes. Good and not Good. But i just want though a thing with my 95 year old father. He also hasn't had to pay...But he sold / Gave 😢a peace of VERY uneven lot. Because he had the need to buy a newer truck. So the lawyer who did the papers sent dad a tax form. We both had no idea what to do. Long story short went to tax man.He was So So Kind omg! Any way Dad didn't have to do Anything. Not enough income from Retirement. I'm not good at paper work it makes me Even more nervous lol if that's possible 😊 Love the candle 🕯 Sorry I haven't been commenting a lot.. trying so hard to grow my channel. Think the brakes are On. But it's ok I'm really enjoying it 😊 i Actually Love it. And hopefully Spreading AWARENESS. Its also therapy for myself. Stronger Together 🦸‍♂️🕯🦸‍♀️
