The delivery of “...well you’re gonna meet ‘em” is so amazing, you can hear the exasperation like he genuinely couldn’t care less about this guys life. Charles Bronson is an underrated actor.
I beg to differ - his final look of sorrow signified regret and desire for forgiveness. God will look on mercy upon his soul. However, God may be less merciful to the arrogant, party-pooping beast who cruelly took his life.
PenisMcWhirtar u are truly a dumbazz. He was looking sad because he was about to get it. Jesus asks that a man ask for forgiveness. As for Bronson I don't think he cared.
In the Bible, Peter denies Jesus but this dude acknowledges Him at 1:11. At 1:17 the dude bows his head and in that second in which his life flashes before him and time stands still, he begs forgiveness, repents of his sins and is redeemed. Jesus went through hell dying for sinners so don't piss Jesus off.
VideoSensei The punisher was the most violent comic I've ever seen, unnecessary killing, plenty of fucking blood and that shit gave me nightmares. The punisher's actions are meant to be wrong and unreasonable.
ACLU would object. They would say the man was innocent, and deserves amnesty for his actions, while Kersey should be the one locked up for carrying and discharging a weapon.
BAck in the 80s when these Death Wish sequels were coming out, we used to say that Charles Bronson's character was running out of relatives to avenge. I think by the 3rd or 4th sequel the bad guys were killing his cousin or nephew or something. Talk about a run of bad luck on your family!
1 - wife, daughter 2 - maid, daughter 3 - war buddy 4 - stepdaughter and girlfriend 5 - girlfriend Lesson learned: don't date Paul Kersey or clean his house!
Charles B: Do you believe in Jesus? Rapist/Drug Dealer: Yes...I Ido *holds cross* Charles B: Well you're going to meet em..*not* Rapist/Drug Dealer: What?! *shot shot* My Director's cut!
At least he lives in that movie because he was innocent. He also gets killed by Clint Eastwood in the 4th Dirty Harry movie Sudden Impact! Lol, so he gets killed by 2 of Hollywood's biggest tough guys in 2 of Hollywood's biggest macho movies. This one being part of the Death Wish series and the other being apart of the Dirty Harry series!!! What a career for this man Kevyn Major Howard!
piet pienter There is definitely a different feel watching this in 2018, and maybe because the world has gone soft but thats the big reason crime is out of control, especially in large cities. In the UK punishments are weak, and dont fit the crime, there is no real deterrent. Our streets are filled with muggers on mopeds, shopkeepers being robbed, gang violence and knife crime, burglaries, grooming gangs etc, the police are spread too thinly and the criminals take more risks because they know that most crimes are not solved or even investigated due to lack of resources, and thats where society has gone wrong. The do gooders have made sure everyone gets a slap on the wrist. Bronsons character got the job done properly.
I always thought he said, "Well, you're gonna need him." I think it sounds more menacing. Like he's saying I'm sending you to hell, and no one save the good lord can stop that.
@@StonedMeadowOfDoom I always though that too! It would have made more sense seeing as how the guy would have been going to hell! I guess the sound wasn't recorded very clearly?
Helmut McFranklinstein my sentiments exactly that's how I feel about drug dealers pimps especially Mafia men and what I mean by that all types of organized crime they all should be facing the fire Squad and like you said where he's going he ain't going to see Jesus he's going to hell and I feel like that's my personal opinion about people who do bad things to hurt other people
And for some reason now in the United States people are upset at stuff like this in movies . Rambo Last Blood is very classic Bronson Death Wish like but all the critics say its offensive and awful
Two punks for the price of one were wasted and there was no need to reload the handgun?. Goes to show that Beretta or Browning model is a good weapon (14 bullets I think) and Kersey was in the US Army - nuff said!.
