About social media improving communication…I strongly oppose this motion for the following reasons: 1) It has enabled people to engage with one another on a very superficial level, where one is able to put out only what one wants people to know of them, which is usually a happy front when sometimes people maybe going through so much more. 2) It has made people to not be intentional with personal relationships with one another eg. you could be in a group chat with others, posting regularly but hardly meet face to face or even have more in-depth interactions with people. 3) Social media is one of the biggest contributors to unhappiness and depression. Ironically, Never before have we had an anxious and depressed generation than we do now, yet we have better communication channels in the name of social media. This is largely due to the comparison trap, as well as not engaging with each other on a deeper, meaningful way. 4) Social media ironically, has made people more stunted in their communication skills. I’ve been in several scenarios where people are all on their phones scrolling through social media and not talking to one another instead🤷🏾♀️. This is across the board, from kids, to married couples to just about everyone nowadays
I knew Kate would defend or justify obesity. She is quickly heading there and this comment isn't out of hatred or shade, I love all you peoples content but Kate's weight for her age is very alarming.
