Weather you learn your language or not you are still your tribe. Let culture be preserved because A kikuyu that doesn't speak kikuyu is still a kikuyu.all this should just be a mindset switch rather than killing the tribe.

Totally agree, and negative tribalism isn’t propagated by the ability to speak your mother tongue. It’s propagated by our politicians and the benefits they reap from it. Also according to research learning mother tongue bumps up literacy levels across different communities globally. Diversity is a beautiful thing when used for good.

I really do support what Bobby says , and if your rlshp is strong then definitely you have to understand that your mate needs that space to find him/herself .

Yeah true... It's the same way she was saying she'd shut down... I think that's what he meant with his break

I think a break sometimes is good cause there are some stuff that maybe you and your partner can only fix if you both are just separate from one another..this will help both of you in reflecting on what you truly want in the longterm or from the relationship..from my perspective people who take breaks are people who mutually want to be in each others lives still but are having major issues on how to work around it so a break is a form of clarity and wake up call on what truly matters to both of you..also what might help is you guys being clear on what to do or not to do during the break and your expectations of how you want your partner to uphold him/her self during the break

Why did I feel like this whole video summed up Bobby being attacked🤣. Anyway, loved this video more than anything, moreso, the valuable sentiments from everyone especially the influencer segment with the entitlement bit and the regulation aspect. I vow for people to represent their own individuality that makes them different in their own way, it is exciting to see😍. Also, the monotony that would come with everyone doing the same thing ? naaaah, I would not even see the point of me existing🤣

I find it funny when they say they're content creators but not influencers when obviously the content to create is geared towards influencing their following towards a certain product or service.

Exactly my thoughts...I don't think being an influencer is such a bad thing,, the problem is people have put such a negative connotation to the name...cause they do "influence" us on their social media pages to experience or buy a service or good

As someone who took a break 8 years ago to someone who is my husband now i think breaks do work if you communicate why you both need the break and both work on yourselves during the break cause looking back the break made us work and know how to love each other

I don't think we have celebrity culture in Kenya because for a person to count as a celebrity you have to be known on a broad public recognition and be actually famous too..I don't think there are many who are known like that..most are just famous but don't count as being celebrities..also celebrity culture dictates stuff like fashion, appearances, opinions, lifestyles to mention but a few so on social media there is a certain way celebs hold themselves and the people who follow them expect the same...I don't deny it can be detrimental but i do sometimes think if you hold yourself with respect and no drama and value privacy people give you that too to some extent.if you love drama people create drama around your life too...that's what i think though

There is nothing wrong with learning our mother tongues but maybe not in a school setting. Even some urban schools due to the mix of different tribes I think might be challenging. This should be left to parents. It's a shame thou that we want to learn french,spanish....bra bra and take pride in it but we can't speak our mother tongue
@lavalu1137

i think it should be offered at schools bc it’s sad that i literally know more and am more conversational in spanish than in my kale, kikuyu or maasai

@@lavalu1137 am teaching myself Spanish from duo lingo....I learnt Kikuyu vernacular from nursery school to class three. I also went to a local public school upcountry in primary school where we just spoke in Kikuyu all the time. So I speak fluent Kikuyu. I would like to learn Luo
