Debating Color Samples & Sanding Peeling Clearcoat | E30 Wrap 

Hey man, a quick tip about feeling the "roughness" of your surface while prepping is to have a thin plastic piece of plastic foil, bag (usually transparent) around your hand. I got this tip from an old painter and detailer, and somehow you can even feel the roughness of paint before decontaminating it with a clay bar! It's also a good idea to have some marking powder (black or white, depending on the colour of the sanded surface) when sanding any surface with consistent colour, so that you see which parts are the high spots. Whatever colour you choose, it's going to look stunning on this car. Loved watching the vid, really enjoyed the progress!

This video makes me want to sand and wrap my car so badly. This seems like the perfect task for an autist like me to get sucked into it lol. Maybe once I've sorted out the performance (and my budget has gone up a little) I'll get around to doing this :) Also, I just want to say that this was a great video! It really feels like you are stepping up your game lately, you are clearly putting in a lot of effort and it absolutely shows. This is hands down my favourite channel on RU-vid, I always save your videos for late at night so I can watch them with a cup of hot choccie :D

8 looks great. Also get a block sander for Bondo work. To notice low spots give the work area a dust of black paint from afar. So that way any spots that are low will show up. Also its easier to apply bondo when you go top to bottom and then to smooth it out you go side to side

5 looks epic. A close second is 8 but 5 against all the black trim and grille would really pop. But I'm sure whatever one you go with it is gonna look good buddy.

I've always been a sucker for dark blues/purples... ok dark colors crimson, forest green.... Ya, I'm no help. BUT I'm learning while you learn. Very interested to see how this goes.

You should take the car outside and see what the colors look like in the sun. Colors definitely pop differently when outside with the sun!!

Fire up Forza Horizon 5 or NFS Heat or NFS Unbound and start looking what sticks. Yes those are M E30s but still a decent view on a whole car. Almost positive you'd find similar wheels to yours.

Hi. I suppose her green color looks magnificent. But if choice is need to be done, I'd rather narrow down the range between 5 and 8.

I’m going to need to do all this prep to my Audi. Luckily I was able to get the clear bra that was cracked into a million pieces off without leaving a bunch of glue behind.
