I used to belong to the D.G.I.F. way back in the day and I remember receiving an invite to attend a Debbie Gibson preview party to listen to Anything Is Possible before it was released to the public to choose which songs we liked the best and meet Debbie herself in person but very sadly I could not attend at the time because I did not have a driver license yet and my Mom wasn't about to get out of bed to take me into the City on a Saturday morning to see Debbie Gibson even though I was practically trying to drag her out of bed to do so. I was so mad that she didn't take me i locked myself in my bedroom the entire day and refused to come out lol. But my Aunt Donna had bout me and my Brother and Cousin tickets to see Debbie Gibson in Concert at Nassau Coliseum for the Electric Youth Tour and it was in November some time and we had not had any Snow yet that year but after the show when everybody was exiting the coliseum it was snowing big heavy snowflakes like a winter wonderland that made a perfect ending to a great night with Debbie Gibson. Now here I am about to turn 50 years old and meeting Debbie Gibson is still on my to do list. Or atleast get an autographed glossy pic of her I could frame. We both grew up on Long Island in the same era. :)

Out of the Blue was my first cassette tape when I was just 8 years old. I got it for Christmas in 87. Songs like Foolish Beat feel like home to me and remind me of such wonderful memories growing up.
