This song came out when I met my husband. I was 17 and I could remember being in the car with him and it coming on the radio and hearing it for the first time as he looked at me with his big blue eyes and said this is how u make me feel and I am going to make you my wife one day.He did and we danced to this song at our wedding. He has passed away now,10 years ago, and still to this day when I hear this song I cry and remember that day in the car 33 years ago. Thank you for the amazing memories ❤

Hey Deb, the universe smiled on you the day it gifted you that beautiful song because it is pure magic. As a professional musician, I love that song. The first time I heard it, it brought tears to my eyes. It still does to this day and your impeccable and sweet voice was perfect for it. And it's not just the sweetness of your voice that makes it so great, it's the soulful expression that you put into it and the perfect intonation - without the use of autotune. You don't over-embellish it the way so many entertainers have done since the 90s - it's like they have diarrhea of the notes. There's no one who can sing that song as well as you did - NO ONE! So much of the stuff that contemporary entertainers put out there today lacks the melodic and chordal contour and beauty of your songs - today's stuff is garbage in comparison. Some of these entertainers (and I purposely didn't use the words "singers" or "musicians" because that, they are not) - well lets just say that they make better football fans or exotic dancers than musicians if you get my drift. The way you accompany yourself on the piano with this song, the suspensions, the rhythm, and the way you fill in between phrases is masterful. Thank you for giving this song to the world to enjoy. YOU ROCK!
