@thomascarter288 There was a pretty impressive (but brief) spin up with a decent CC around 7:15 AM central time. It was south of Kittrell/near Henderson and the VA border
Yeah the guy's house collapsed on him. I think it was more an issue of the house's condition and not the wind, as the second story was fairly intact after the collapse.
As of 2020, North Carolina had 7,352 factory farms for swine and poultry, including 59 swine farms and 97 poultry facilities. These farms produce large amounts of manure and some are located in or near floodplains, which can contaminate water with bacteria and other health hazards during flooding. In eastern North Carolina, many concentrated animal feeding operations are located in under-resourced communities. Duplin and Sampson Counties have more hog factory farms than anywhere else in the US, and many families have been exposed to contaminated air and drinking water for generations. FYI, this messed up the area the last time there was a hurricane in North Carolina, this has to stop, it's not only a hazard to all when it rains and hits those waste ponds that flood out into other water sources as they expand. These places are also animal abusive, they don't protect any of the animals if it floods, chickens can't fly because they clip their wings and pigs are low to the ground as well so they leave them to drown. Most don't understand you are what you eat, 95% of all chickens sold in this country are factory farmed animals as most pork.
That’s why I’m a pescatarian …when I saw how turkeys and chickens are…processed…that traumatized me so much that I only eat dairy and fish. I have severe anemia and osteopenia so that’s the reason for dairy and fish.
@@sandyaw3057 Concerning your osteopenia, if you like, please look up an article called "Nothing Boring about Boron" by the National Institute of Health. Don't expect your doctor to tell you about it. Cheers!
NC here, i almost never lose power due to weather...but oh man yesterday and today i have lost power sooooo many times. Rain has been so heavy since last night
We’ve been having tornado warnings all morning here in NC by the I40/I95 close or so. I have a that annoying dull migraine behind my right eye this morning because of the barometric pressure but at least if the pressure drops I have a warning system built in but it would be just enough time for me to run for cover. 🤷🏻♀️
@@bfthompson416 glad you’re okay though. It’s going to be a bumpy ride today. My oldest son had one heading toward him this morning I can’t remember what time but I think about 3:30am or so and he said it dissipated before it go to him in Kenly. He sent me a screenshot of the barometric pressure drop at that very moment. It was crazy how much it dropped and fast it literally plummeted!
@@datrickypanda9810 yep, my neurologist said it’s not uncommon for migraine suffers to have a migraine come on suddenly when the barometric pressure drops or storms are coming. He said “I know it hurts but at least you have a built in warning system”
Get ready for Debby, if you are in the Carolinas, the threats are tornadoes, gusty winds, and flooding, stay safe for Debby, and don’t be scared, be prepared when the storms reach your location
I have been looking for you for a bit, my sister texted me she was under tornado warning in NC! Glad to see this video I will send this to her! Is there another page you can recommend for live coverage if your not on?
wilson county in north carolina had a tornado this morning and a man did die. there was extensive damage to a bunch of buildings including a middle school
Thanks, Max. Had some touchdowns today in Wilson County and unfortunately some casualties. Holding steady with heavy rains here in Charlotte. Nice haircut! 😎
