This can happen, when the hormones are out of balance. If it happens prior to every cycle, it would be important to learn what specifically the imbalances are in your body, and with your hormones, to help you obtain a solution, so that you can feel better, on a monthly basis. Let me know if you would like to discuss this further, as I may be able to help you with this. Thanks for your response....

This is so me. Plus I can’t control the binge eating the week in a half up to my period. Whole Foods are not cutting it. My body rejects them and all I want is total junk to satisfy myself. It’s like every two hours my cravings are ravenous: This is utterly impossible.

This might sound weird, but since I tried adding a protein shake into my diet due to cardio exercises (wich made me look up what I am lacking, cause the hunger cravings were just as intense as previous period cravings) its not that extrem for me anymore and it also helps on days were I feel like I cant eat anything. Been happened to me for years since late 20s. Feels like bipolar and I was given bipolar meds. Wellbutrin & adderall. It’s pmdd and has nothing to do with menopause it’s the body is sensitive to hormones there’s no imbalance. The hormone levels are normal it’s the body is sensitive to the hormones. I wish ppl would stop trying to make us have menopause with everything. It’s disturbing.
@angelasimpsonfunctionalmed5893
@angelasimpsonfunctionalmed5893 6 месяцев назад
Yes, PMDD has different root causes for symptoms for sure. There are other lifestyle factors that need to be addressed, and PMDD symptoms can get worse leading up to menopause….. due to changes in neurotransmitter/ brain chemical levels. If you want more information about this specific condition and ways to address the imbalances that come with this condition, please let me know.

I'm 29 and my debilidating fatigue comes gradually from day 8 to day 14 (ovulation) and that 14th day is the most severe. For me it's not right before the period so I never hear of my issue. Then I'm still badly fatigued until day 23 and then I start to finally feel better for about 6 days until my period hits. The only thing that gets rid of the symptoms is Primrose Oil but it's making my periods irregular and painful so idk what to do

I’m 35, and the pre menstrual fatigue and emotional tension gets so extreme 5-7 days before my period. I can’t cope. I often miss work if it hits on a weekday. But my period is consistently 29days. My last period was a week late, so I don’t think it’s progesterone. I have extremely heavy bleeding. My ferritin level is at 15. I have a poor compliance history taking iron tablets. I like exercise, but during the week leading up to my period and the week of, I literally can’t get up let alone go to the gym.

I am 45 and ive been experiencing debilitating vomitting, inflammatory arthritis, gum abscesses and severe facial oedema, with acute bronchitis and sinus infections 1 week before my periods. I have taken so much time off work every month, about to lose my job due to this premenstrual autoimmune chaos 1 week before a period. Doctors dont believe me, it is horrendous and Ive never been so depressed in all my life because no one believes me. I have so many photos of severe angioedema, gum abscesses and bloating prior to periods, and yet no one still believes me. Is anyone experiencing this? Please help, this isnt just fatigue, this is similar to an anaphylactic reaction every 3 weeks, I have to use ventolin to breathe as my airways even close up 1 week before my period. My diet never changes, my exercise level never changes. Anyone going through the same thing?

This can happen, this specific symptom for any woman, prior to their period... it is more common for women, as they are getting older, and the female sex hormones are declining... but it can happen for any women, including young women, and teenaged girls. If you would like to discuss this further, and how to help you find a solution, please let me know. Thanks

Yes: birth control stops ovulation…. So if you have a hormone imbalance , you likely won’t notice it as much if on the birth control pill. It can take a few cycles to regulate hormones, when coming off, and if still not feeling balanced, you may need some help with this.
