Wow! I’m a huge fan of the show. Never thought I would see Scotty again. I had a few run ins with him before he was homeless and still had care of his daughter. I didn’t know he was using at the time, but he not only robbed me and everyone I knew, but he would call people he knew and tried to get them to meet him places, and then pop out of the bushes and attack and rob them. I must say, he is a great graffiti writer, but he wasn’t Scarface Scotty as of 5 years ago. Really sad, but this guy would literally stab you in the back after telling you he’s your best friend. This whole series should be titled "Americans." Because that's exactly who they are. They don't show the underside of life, they show real life, what America offers to those that usually are overwhelmed by problems they did not ask for-for instance, living on the street or selling your body. People who have it easy and forever point fingers have been making me sick since I was 6 years old.

I hope this man gives himself a second chance but I understand that his pain is so unsurmountable it must feel impossible for him to find any kind of hope . @@TMichelle555 "Nowadays it’s all about replacing people or playing people" --- women made modern dating like that. they have so many options on social media, they treat most men as replaceable because they get so much validation from men online. replacing them with another one is nothing to them, so the men react to that by doing the same & being non-committal. just having casual sex & stringing women along while giving her hope of commitment & never committing. "but hearing someone specially a man being so vulnerable is so moving, it’s refreshing." --- women don't allow men to be vulnerable. any time a man expresses his feelings, women look at him as emotional & therefore weak & they get turned off. or if a man expresses grievances, especially about women, they label him a misogynist. so men just keep their feelings to themselves. thats why you never hear men talk about how they feel. again, women created this climate & made it like this. "that's that love they make songs/movies about" --- there's a reason you don't hear songs like that anymore, because that type of love doesn't exist anymore. no one can establish any human connection because women nowadays can so easily go on tinder to their plethora of DM's & swipe left on 100 men & replace him with another. pretty depressing when you think about it.

That one sentence is what explains why a grown adult will choose to resist/fight/kill a police officer when they’re simply driving on a suspended and their daughter is waiting for them to bring the milk home. People living on this edge will risk it ALL at ANY moment if they feel their back is against the wall. You have to be very aware when dealing with people like this and I truly hope Mark is.

He seems like the physical embodiment of what pain looks and sounds like when it’s walking around and talking. You can almost imagine the amount of fear he can inflict on someone in his debt or even imagine the amount of pain he’s able to inflict onto another and his heart rate probably wouldn’t even go up while he’s doing it. I said a prayer for him after this video was done. Sometimes dead seems like a better idea than walking around only to live the way he does. This is what soul death looks like. For what it's worth, I was watching this remarkable man,..and when I tried to summerise what I was seeing I came up with the exact same sentence as you - "the physical embodiment of pain"
@urdadshusband781
@urdadshusband781 Год назад
You are correct. I would say he is the embodiment of trauma. Sometimes when he is asked a question it looks like he has to take a half a second just to gather the strength to answer. To find the energy. Not from physical limitations, but from intense emotional trauma that has caused the death of his soul. He has nothing left. It's very clear He looks like a condemned man being led to the guillotine. No future, not caring about the present, only fixated on the past and all the loss it holds I wish him the best but this sort of abuse and anguish is not something people come back from. If you took half this man's pain away he'd still have to claw simply to get out of bed In a fleshly tomb, he is buried above ground

I used to work at a A&E (ER to my American friends), and lived in a very small island where everyone knows everyone. There was this family, the brothers were drug dealers, one more a user than a dealer. I knew about them because they used to beat people up and shit back when they were in school, and went on to petty crime. Anyway, the younger brother came in to the hospital I was at. After a specific date his attendances were thick and fast, so I clicked on the first one of the batch. Turns out, he and his gf who was nine months pregnant shot up and went to sleep, he woke up the next morning to her being dead. He was a scummy dude, but when I saw that, my heart kinda broke for the man deep down inside under all the bullshit. A very primal sense of sadness came from me just reading it. I'm not sure how many people know this part of his story, but it was a tragic episode in a series that has been long running and needs a change of writers if you get me?

Great interview from Scarface Scotty. I appreciate the stories coming from people living in difficult situations. I have read some of the comments about having empathy for their trials and tribulations. However, these are not the type of people that one would necessarily "take home to mom and dad." You can appreciate the stories and empathize with them but they will take whatever needed for themselves without hesitation. Guess what I am saying is just don't be naive enough to be taken advantage of because they live, or have lived, a turbulent life. I relate this to the tourist that walk up to the wild buffalo and lions at the national parks. Don't be that guy!

I relate very much to your story bro. I was taking opiates at 16 which led to being horribly addicted to H from 18-22, my fiance at the time was the love of my life we had grown together since kids. I lost her suddenly in an accident like you. I feel your pain, im 28 now and still hurt deeply from that. I also lost a lot of respect and love for myself and my future and became kinda nihilistic. Thankfully Ive been sober for years now but for a while I just went harder. Best of luck to you man. It was very nicw to see there is someone like me in this fucked up situation

I've been to South Korea. It is cutting edge. They have come a long way in a short amount of time. For example, the US invests and buys skin care products from SK and will repackage and mark up the price 500% literally. Their research is very precise.
