I’m a metal head for over 30 years. I love it, but there’s not much that impresses me over the last 20 years. Decapitated absolutely blows me away!, Amazing songwriting, great musicians & a band that defies genre. It’s just straight up in yer face, killer metal!,🤘🤘🤘
Yep. I get the sense people really underestimate their compositions. The restraint and repetition is perfectly punctuated by sweet little surprising moments. 404 is incredible.
No one talking about Vogg's obvious Dime influence...i think he takes the flavor of Dime ... and turn's it up about 100%🤘 he's downright ridiculously talented! You can't even put him in a genre or type... he's all over the place. 🖤🤘
I hear many bands in their sound. Good. They are taking all of their influences and mixing them and making their own.. And I do hear a bit of Dimebag Darrel influence in the guitarist lol. Awesome.
Nie lubię tego nowego wokalu. Nie pasuje do decapitated.. Jest za mało brutalny a za bardzo hardcorowy. Sauron miał klasyczny growl i wtedy był to czysty brutal death
Great Show last Sunday at Riviera (Madrid)... I went there to see Children of Bodom with my friend and work mate Lukasz... and we made a great discovery. Great Show boys!!!
You are welcome, you might wanna try Behemoth and Vader, Aborted, and maybe some Dying Fetus or Necrophagist for the older stuff, meanwhile the newer stuff sounds more likely to Lamb Of God, Meshuggah, Fear Factory, Strapping Young Lad and JesusMartyr.
No Zbyszek z Behemotha miał wyrostek wycinany, ale myślałem, że Kerim pociągnie obie kapele na raz. Trochę zjebał według mnie, ale jego sprawa... Decapitated dużo ciekawszą muzykę teraz gra
Now that you mention it.. The start at least :)) Once the tempo goes up it has no real Sepultura vibes left imo :D But that heavy grind at the start yeah definitely see what you're saying
It depends on which songs of decapitated you like, tell me if you prefer the new record, the others ones or their whole work and i will tell you wich bands you might enjoy
Don't be ridiculous. Did you not pay attention to what I wrote? I credited Living Sacrifice as ripping off Meshuggah's album first (I can't prove this, just point to very close similarity). Anyway, I like the first three LS albums just fine; those albums are good, not shitty (can't say the same for most of the other work), but I don't know that I consider any of them among my favorite albums. I'm a Christian, yes, but there are only a handful of Christian albums that I think are great. I can't think of any bad album that I give a pass to simply because it's supposedly Christian. If I had a bias in my comment, it would be that I mostly like black metal and really dark death metal, so this style doesn't really do much for me.
