I'm surprised with some of the negative reviews. I was so impressed with the ru-vid.comUgkxMwYg0MOXR4M-oGeyBsNSYe1aPOUoRH6D cage that I got the lat pulldown attachment that goes with it. It is equally outstanding. I don't have one complaint other than putting it together is a job. The instructions and packaging of the parts are very well designed and organized. Also, I stripped and damaged the pull down cable the first day, admitting it was my stupid fault, and they quickly replaced it at no charge. I'm 6'5, 280lbs and fit in the cage just fine. Glenn B

Thank you it’s a good information. I’m using the bench 900 since a month along with 50kg weight kit. It’s a good combo and can workout full body. Last week I took the rack 900, it’s sturdy and good quality. I saw your video before purchasing it, it was very helpful

This rack is extremely short, even for someone in the 5ft range, you don't want to bend your knees to do pullups. I really wish they'd thought it out even more or have it made taller. Please don't criticize me for being tall, it's not my fault. I'd definitely buy one if they made it taller, I even asked them and Decathlon says they can't as they get their stock from China and sells it locally here. It's quite expensive too. It's hard to find another alternative from other countries and it may take ages before it gets here too.

The rack looks great. A lot of local manufacturers can make something similar for a lot cheaper, but I wonder if the quality would be as good as Decathlon. Great review btw, I was really looking for someone to review this rack 👍

i would like this rack with spotter arms that come off the front of the rack, but do not see them from corength... do standard 50mm rack attachments fit this rack? there are also not tube dimensions or hole size on the decathlon website that i could find.

Thanks buddy! Bench 900 is a good bench for performing heavy lifting on bench plus hitting muscles with diff angles.inclined n declined as well. But if you wanna train for powerlifting and lifting heavy like 200kg is your goal, then you should go for a flat bench from SF health or Bullrock. The bench will be flat and price is less also compared to decathlon

I would have chosen Rack 900, coz of the price and more versatile ( pull system at the back). It's best for a lot of things. It can carry 200kg on squats (as mentioned) and can load even more, what I feel. But if I have more money, and I am more into free weights workout. I would go with gorilla. Coz more sturdy , looks are customisable and straight rod for pull ups that I prefer over curved ones.

7feet barbell is best. It's the standard Olympic barbell. In UK you can look for rogue or eleiko barbells, if you can. Else Blk Box also has good barbell, cost effective as well.

Whole power rack of domyos is of about ~105 kg and bullrock's only 96 inch squat rack (with safety feature) is of above 120 kg. Bullrock has been built for advance level...

It's just a rack, for lower body work you will have to do squats in it with a barbell. The pully system provided at the back is helpful for upper body workout

There are two Olympic barbell. One of 15kg and one of 20kg, which is 7 feet long. Go for 7 feet Olympic barbell, perfect for rack 900.

For triceps you can do triceps extension on the pulley and triceps pull downs on the pulley. For shoulder you can do cable side raises and will have to rely on shoulder press with barbell.

Meh Chinese cheap stuff, the steel is too thin and light, wobbly, buy the Bullrock version for a commercial gym feel or a local one for saving money. For saving space try one of the DIY folding rack tutorials on RU-vid, any nearby welder should be able to make something similar easily, those bolt onto the wall and take up almost zero space when folded away.

Bro that really depends! If you love working out with free weights and doing compound movements like squats, bench press, pull ups. Along with that getting some isolation work done like in machines (lat pull down, biceps, triceps, rowing) , then rack 900 is best

Main diff is standard 15kg oly barbell will have length of 6.5 ft and 25 mm shaft instead of 28mm. Minor diff. You sure can go for 15kg barbell also then

Bro, do you have any idea if the free weight pulley can be replaced with a Weight Stack (ie. weight plates with adjustable pin system)? Do we have any option like that with Rack 900?

No man, I don't think so. It will require a lot of modification, better to buy something where it's already there

@@SubodhRawat That's unfortunate, since Rack 900 is solid. Other options are quite expensive. I'm also looking at GAMMA FITNESS PR-27 which is reasonably priced and meets my requirements. @@SubodhRawat I brought rack from yodha fitness height is more, while inserting safety rods its difficult and lateral push also difficult. I think decathlon rack is good but India companies still long way to reach that quality.
