Needed to know this, so many things that add to the NPC feel that you can’t see yourself doing in first person.

AI crouch for about 5-6 seconds when they do this, so it’s best to stay still & crouched for the same amount of time.

Yeah I know this. Anything an NPC can do, we can do it too. Like me pretending to be stuck and no player shoots me besides the guy with the briefcase

When doing this its usually best to align with the body and aim at their belt.

Make sure to stay there for a couple moments before getting up and walking away, good players look for this, if you get up immedietly after picking up the npc they will notice

You can't do this when out of cover (obviously) or when disguised as a civilian or VIP. You have to be staff, guard or Executive to wake up NPCs. Also, don't stand back up until the person you're waking up has already stood up, when NPCs do this they don't stand up immediately.

Please make sure that you are disguised as a staff or higher doing this as a civilian does nothing but make you crouch

I just lost a game due to not knowing this I thought it might be E and it was a dead giveaway as a guard not waking up the person yet standing over body.
