Hello everyone! I hope you all are doing well and getting ready to enjoy a wonderful holiday season.
Winter has just begun and I wanted to do a quick tour to share what has been growing in my garden over the last few weeks.
I have a variety of cool season vegetables growing from transplants and seeds. Hopefully, you'll find some inspiration here.
Here at Home Cents With Nell , I talk about home decor, DIYs, gardening and other topics related to making your home your sanctuary on a budget. If that's your thing, please like, share, and subscribe. Most of all, leave a comment. I'd love to hear from you.

Growing from seed is a great goal. You must have a longer growing season in Ca

We rarely have frost so we're lucky in that way. I do wish we had more 🌞 exposure right now, though.

I love volunteer plants too! Last growing season I had 20+ it was crazy! I repotted them and they did ok. But just so crazy! Loved seeing your garden. I have snow where I'm at so I don't see anything green haha

Oh, how I wish we had snow here! Volunteers are so fun to find in the garden. I have something growing near one of my beds that I have yet to identify.👀

Oh so lucky! I'm in 7a and ready for planting time already 😅 You have a lovely set up. I'd like to do a mini container garden this spring. I have a few acres so I largely grow in ground!

Hello Ms Nell, thank you for becoming a new supporter to momma js country gardening. Now I can connect with you since we have introduced ourselves. I can see that you also have a talent in creativity. Please check out Peace of Refuge - my daughter Ariel's site. New to RU-vid but not to creativity. I am looking forward to our connections. God blessings upon you. 70 degrees in December 2020... can you blow some of those temperatures to me in zone 6b/7a. 😀

Hello Momma J👋🏾. Thanks so much for stopping by. I'm really enjoying your channel and I'll be sure to check out your daughter's also. Sometimes those temps aren't a blessing. My mustard greens and lettuce have already started to bolt ☹.

Yikes about your mustard greens and lettuce. Suggestion..give cold cold water to cool them down. Maybe that can slow the process if u want them to grow more. Are u harvesting your greens? This encourages them to produce more for u. Blessings. Thank you for checking out our content. My daughter has a blog, Instagram and RU-vid. I have Facebook. Looking forward to future sharing 😀.

@@mommajscountrygardening I never thought of giving them cold water. I will definitely try that because I really miss the flavor of the mustards! I'll admit we should have harvested more and frozen them instead of just picking what we wanted for dinners.
